Can heptafluoropropane put out alcohol fire?
completely

Heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent is mainly due to its high heat removal speed. Its fire extinguishing mechanism consists of the following three parts:

(1) cooling reserve; (2) Dispersion of fire extinguishing agent; (3) Oxygen consumption.

(1) heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent is sprayed into the reserve in liquid form. When sprayed from the nozzle, the liquid fire extinguishing agent quickly changes into gas, which needs to absorb a lot of heat, thus reducing the temperature and flame around the protected area.

(2) The heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent is composed of macromolecules, and some bonds in the molecules need to absorb heat during fire extinguishing.

(3) The injection of extinguishing agent and the existence of flame in the protected area reduce the concentration of oxygen, thus reducing the combustion speed.
