Shenzhen polytechnic is a full-time college organized by Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. The school was founded in 1993, formerly known as Shenzhen Higher Vocational and Technical College, and now known as 1997. In 200 1 year, the school signed an agreement with 29 universities in China to jointly train graduate students and doctoral students. In 2003, it passed the evaluation of talent training level of higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education, and became the first batch of national demonstration higher vocational colleges in 2009.

The College has five campuses, namely Liu Xian Cave, Xili Lake, Guanlongshan, OCT and Fenghuangshan, with a total campus area of 2,360,200 square meters and a school building area of 588,400 square meters, with total fixed assets of 906 million yuan (excluding school buildings). The library has 2.278 million paper books, 70,000 electronic books1/kloc-0, newspapers173/kloc-0, and 32 Chinese and foreign databases.
