Guizhou University of Finance and Economics is located in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is a financial university with economic management as the main body and coordinated development of law, philosophy, literature, teaching, art, science and engineering. It is a key training base for economic management talents in Guizhou Province built by the provincial government. It has been selected as a key professional construction project of first-class universities in Guizhou Province, a first-class platform construction project of first-class universities in Guizhou Province, and the second batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
The school was founded in 1958, formerly known as Guizhou Institute of Finance and Economics, and merged with Guizhou Planning and Management Cadre School in 1992. In 20 12, it was renamed Guizhou University of Finance and Economics with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and was added as a doctoral degree awarding unit in 20 18.
The school has three campuses, Huaxi, Binjiang and Luchongguan, with a total area of 5 106.8 mu, a total construction area of10.06 million square meters and a total equipment value of 430 million yuan.
