1, latitude and longitude reclamation

Jingwei's reclamation is a story described in Shan Hai Jing, which tells the story of a bird named Jingwei who tried to reclaim the sea in ancient China. Shan Hai Jing describes a bird. Its name is Jingwei. Jingwei turned out to be Emperor Yan's favorite daughter.

One day she went to the East China Sea to play, and suddenly a storm hit and she died. The girl became a bird, and her name was "Jingwei Bird". Jingwei bird went to Xishan to get stones and branches, and threw them into the sea again and again, trying to fill up the East China Sea.

Tao Yuanming, a poet in the Jin Dynasty, wrote a poem: "Jingwei holds Xiao Mu and will fill the sea." Later, people often used the idiom "jingwei fills the sea" to mean to fight tirelessly to the end according to the established goals.

2. Houyi Shooting Day

Legend has it that there were ten suns in the sky in ancient times, all of whom were sons of the Eastern Heaven Emperor. These ten suns and their mother, the wife of the Emperor of Heaven, live on the edge of the East China Sea. She often bathes ten children in Donghai, China, the easternmost part of the world.

After bathing, let them perch on the tree like birds. Because the image center of each sun is a bird, the big tree becomes their home. Nine suns perched on the shorter branches, and the other perched on the treetops.

When the dawn needs the morning light, the sun perched on the treetops will ride a two-wheeled vehicle, cross the sky, illuminate the world and spread light and heat to the whole world. The ten suns change every day and take turns to be on duty, which is orderly and harmonious between heaven and earth.

People live happily and harmoniously on the earth. Like neighbors and friends, people live together, work at sunrise and rest at sunset, and live a happy life. People and animals can live in harmony.

At that time, people were grateful to the sun for bringing them time, light and joy, and often kowtowed to heaven. However, such days are too long, and these ten suns are tired. They want to travel around the sky together, and they think it must be interesting.

So, when the dawn came, ten suns climbed onto the two-wheeled vehicle together and embarked on a journey across the sky. As a result, people and everything on earth can't stand it. Ten suns are like ten fires, and their heat scorches the earth.

Burn many people and animals. The forest caught fire and all the trees, crops and houses were burned to ashes. People and animals, pigs and wolves who didn't die in the fire fled everywhere, frantically looking for a place to avoid disaster.

And life-saving water and food. When the river dries up, the ocean faces drying up, all the fish die, and the monsters in the water climb ashore to steal food. Crops and orchards withered and burned, and food sources for people and animals were cut off.

People are either burned alive by the heat of the sun or eaten by wild animals. People are struggling in the fire, praying for the gift of God! At this time, there was a handsome young hero named Hou Yi. He is an archer, and his archery is superb.

He was summoned by the Emperor of Heaven and accepted the mission of driving away the sun. Seeing people living in a sea of fire, he couldn't bear it, so he made up his mind to shoot out the extra nine suns and help people out of their misery.

Then, Houyi climbed ninety-nine mountains, crossed ninety-nine rivers, crossed ninety-nine canyons, came to the East China Sea, and climbed a mountain, at the foot of which was the vast sea. Hou Yi opened the crossbow with ten thousand catties.

Take a sharp arrow, aim it at the burning sun in the sky, shoot it with a swish, and the first sun will be shot down. Hou Yi opened his crossbow again, took a sharp arrow, and shot it with a buzz, shooting down two suns at the same time. Now, there are seven suns in the sky staring at their red eyes.

Hou Yi felt that these suns were still very hot and shot the third arrow violently. This arrow hit four suns. The other suns trembled with fear and kept spinning. In this way, Hou Yi shot arrows at the sun one after another.

Without a hair, I shot nine suns. Nine suns shot by arrows died one after another. Their feathers fell to the ground, and their light and heat disappeared bit by bit. He was afraid until the last sun was left.

According to Hou Yi's instructions, he continued to contribute light and heat to the earth and all things honestly. Since then, the sun rises from the seaside in the east every day and sets from the mountains in the west at night, warming the world, making everything full of vitality and people live and work in peace and contentment.

3. Kuafu chases the sun

The sun rises and sets every day, ignoring the mountains in the great northern wilderness of Chengdu. A giant is watching it with rapt attention. The giant made earrings with two yellow snakes and played with them in his hand. He is Hou Di's grandson.

Xin's son, whose name is Xin. Kuafu is as tall as a mountain, but he is naive and full of fantasy. These two days, he is thinking about several big problems about the sun: First, when the sun falls into the valley of ignorance, the night is coming.

I love light and hate darkness. I'm going to chase the sun and keep it in the sky forever. Secondly, the round face of the sun is stained with many black spots. I expect the sun to get brighter and brighter. I want to catch up with the sun and let him wipe his face.

Third, the sun emits too much light and heat in summer, and it is bound to lack energy in winter; I like the four seasons like spring, neither too hot nor too cold. I'm going to catch up with the sun and persuade him to divide the heat equally. Kuafu thinking, filed a stick.

Spread your long legs and chase the sun. The sun sat in the car and walked leisurely to the west. Suddenly, when he saw a giant falling down like a mountain, he couldn't help exclaiming, "Oh, my God! Run, the giant is coming! " Xi He's thunder seems to have thrown a whip in the air.

Six dragons are full of energy and fly forward like lightning. Kuafu roared, "What are you running for?" Hard at the foot, crossed the Qian Shan in the blink of an eye. The dragon raced to the sad spring, the sun rolled down and went straight to the Yuyuan Garden. At this time, Kuafu has entered the world of light and shadow.

Surrounded by strong light, he saw a huge and bright fireball. Kuafu excitedly opened his arms and wanted to embrace the sun, but, but what? Why are you so thirsty? Oh, Kuafu ran for a long time and was sweating all over.

How can he not be thirsty? Kuafu is close to the sun and suffers from fireballs. How can it not be thirsty? Kuafu staggered to the edge of the Yellow River, drank the water of the Yellow River in one breath, turned around and dried the Weihe River again. He is so thirsty, but he is still so fierce and violent.

Kuafu struggled to go to osawa in the north, and osawa is in the north of Yanmen Mountain, where birds feed their young and change their feathers. It has traveled thousands of miles, and that smoke is a good place for them to quench their thirst. Unfortunately, he fell to the ground halfway, and the afterglow rubbed on his face.

Is it ironic? Or comfort? Kuafu died of thirst, and the stick he carried with him turned into a peach tree forest with lush green leaves and numerous fruits. People say that it was Kuafu's ideal pursuer who left sunshine and rain on the long road to satisfy his hunger and thirst.

4. Mend the goddess of the sky

Legend has it that when human beings were multiplying, suddenly the water god and Vulcan Zhu Rong fought. They went from the sky to the ground, causing trouble everywhere. As a result, Zhu Rong won and refused to accept the defeat. In a rage, he bumped into the island.

No, Zhoushan landslide, the big pillar supporting heaven and earth is broken, the sky is half collapsed, a big hole appears, and the ground is trapped in a series of big cracks. The mountain forest caught fire, the flood gushed out from the ground, and dragons, snakes and beasts also came out to devour the people.

Mankind is facing an unprecedented disaster. Nu Wa witnessed such a strange disaster and felt very painful, so she decided to mend the sky to end it. She selected stones of various colors and set them on fire to make mud.

Fill the hole in the sky with this kind of stone slurry, and then cut off four feet of a chinemys reevesii as four pillars to support half of the collapsed sky. Nu Wa also captured and killed the black dragon, which killed the people, and stopped the arrogance of the dragon and snake.

Finally, in order to prevent flooding, Nuwa also collected a large number of reeds, burned them into ashes and buried them in the flood that spread everywhere. After some efforts by Nu Wa, the sky was finally filled up, the ground was filled up, the water stopped, and the dragon, snake and beast disappeared.

The people lived a happy life again. But after all, this catastrophic disaster left its mark. Since then, the sky still tilted to the northwest, so the sun, moon and stars naturally returned to the west.

5. Immortal depression.

There is a big peach tree on Dushuo Mountain in the East China Sea, with its branches winding and stretching for three thousand miles. The northeast of Peach Tree is the death gate for ghosts to enter and leave the world of Yin and Yang. Rabbit and Lei Yu live on a peach tree, checking ghosts coming in and out. If they meet evil spirits, they will do evil.

So I tied it with reed rope and fed it to the tiger. The Yellow Emperor appointed Shen Tu and Lei Yu as ghost leaders to supervise and direct all ghosts in the world. He also taught people to hang red boards and reed ropes painted with statues of tea and Yulei on the gate to ward off evil with symbolic objects.
