Introduction to Honghe College The predecessor of Honghe College was Mengzi Teachers College, which was founded in 1978. In April 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Mengzi Teachers College and Yunnan Radio and TV University Honghe Branch merged to form Honghe College. It is a provincial-level comprehensive undergraduate college in Yunnan Province, and the school implements the management system of "the province and the state jointly manage * * * *, with the province as the main body". The school is located in mengzi city, the capital of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, and is the only undergraduate institution of higher learning in Honghe Prefecture.

Talent training: the school closely combines the needs of regional economic and social development and actively trains qualified talents for the local area. Since its establishment, it has sent 43,000 graduates to the local area. Since the promotion, the school has focused on the fundamental task of cultivating undergraduate applied talents, strengthened the construction of qualified undergraduate courses, basically established the undergraduate teaching system, and actively explored the "student-centered" comprehensive reform of undergraduate education and teaching.
