By the end of 20 14, 10, hunan normal university library * * * had 100 employees, including 16 senior titles, 32 with master's degree or above and 50 with bachelor's degree. The personnel structure is young, professional, highly educated and multidisciplinary, and a capable team is being formed to build a high-level university library. The library consists of four offices and seven departments, namely, administrative office, branch library, business office, digital library office of Hunan Province, editing department, system management department, information consulting department, circulation department, lending department, reading department and ancient books collection department.

Hunan normal university library is the earliest university library in Hunan Province to implement computer management. 1992 took the lead in using Fujitsu minicomputer to realize the automatic management of library business in Hunan province. 20 14, GDLISNET integrated management system was launched, and a multi-campus unified document information service platform was built.
