What should I pay attention to when I go to Tibet for the first time?
Traveling is a very happy thing. If you plan to travel to Tibet, you will get a lot of points! But if you encounter some troubles or regrets because of your carelessness or some planning reasons, it will not be worth the candle. What problems did you encounter during your trip to Tibet? I believe that friends who have seen it can avoid these problems next time!

The first one: luggage

Travel in Tibet is a long journey, with stops and stops along the way. However, some friends are always afraid of forgetting such things when they come to Tibet for the first time, so in the end, they all go on their way with big bags and small bags. Finding a lot of things on the road is actually useless, and it will take a lot of effort and be too tired. Friends who go next time must pay attention to this.

The second one: documents!

This is a taboo in Tibet! Because Tibet is different from other places, there are many military stations in Tibet. If you plan to enter Tibet safely, you must bring a lot of documents, such as ID card, driver's seat, student ID card and so on. It is not unreasonable for the tour guide to ask you to take a few copies when you are in Tibet.

The third one: sun protection

Girls are most afraid of being tanned. There have been several posts on the internet saying that the comparison between these girls before and after going to Tibet is really exaggerated. It makes sense to say that Lhasa is a sunny city. Ultraviolet rays will make your skin turn red, peel and even peel. Both men and women here should be prepared for sun protection! A perfect trip can't be ignored in many small things, but if you really give yourself some trouble because of these things, I hope you can face it positively and optimistically, even if you have some regrets, it won't affect your good mood. I hope you all have a nice trip!

First, before entering Tibet:

First, psychological preparation:

Good psychological quality is a panacea to overcome altitude sickness.

A large number of examples have proved that maintaining an open-minded and optimistic mood and building strong self-confidence can weaken the physical discomfort in the altitude sickness zone. On the contrary, anxiety, overthinking and slight discomfort will increase the oxygen consumption of brain tissue, thus aggravating physical discomfort and prolonging self-healing time.

B, physical preparation:

Get enough sleep and rest before entering Tibet, and patients with severe hypertension and heart disease should not enter Tibet. Before entering the plateau, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited to prevent upper respiratory tract infection. Avoid overwork, save your strength and have a good rest. Take American ginseng properly to enhance the anti-hypoxia ability of the body. If there is a respiratory infection, it should be cured before entering the plateau.

C, personal belongings:

The plateau has high altitude and strong sunshine, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is large. Prepare long-sleeved clothes, sweaters and coats, and bring sunglasses, sun hats, sunscreen, lip balm, cold medicine, gastrointestinal medicine, aspirin, valium and other items. Entering the plateau is the most common reaction. It's best to prepare some commonly used drugs, such as rhodiola, Jigan oral liquid, cold medicine, anti-inflammatory drugs, old-fashioned headache powder and so on. Everyone who enters the plateau will have altitude sickness to varying degrees, such as headache, chest tightness, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, insomnia and so on. Generally speaking, after 1-2 days, the above symptoms will gradually reduce or disappear. However, patients with severe heart disease, lung disease and hypertension should not go to the plateau. Friendly reminder: enough film, camera battery, cash, GSM mobile phone, wet tissue and personal hygiene products.

Special note: Please prepare down jacket and sleeping bag when traveling to Mount Everest.

Second, matters needing attention

A. Before entering the plateau, you can consult people who have lived in the plateau for matters needing attention, so as to be aware of it and avoid unnecessary tension.

B before entering the plateau, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited to prevent upper respiratory tract infection. Avoid overwork, save your strength and have a good rest. Take American ginseng properly to enhance the anti-hypoxia ability of the body. If there is a respiratory infection, it should be cured before entering the plateau.

C. Good psychological quality is a panacea to overcome altitude sickness. A large number of examples have proved that maintaining an open-minded and optimistic mood and building strong self-confidence can weaken the physical discomfort in the altitude sickness zone. On the contrary, anxiety, overthinking and slight discomfort will lead to high altitude tension, but will increase the oxygen consumption of brain tissue, thus aggravating physical discomfort and prolonging self-healing time.

D. If you have never been to the plateau, you must have a strict physical examination before entering the plateau. Patients with severe anemia or hypertension should not close their eyes and enter the plateau.

On the way to the plateau

A. Oxygen and drugs for preventing and treating acute altitude sickness, such as Rhodiola, Gaoyuanning and Nuodikang capsules, should be prepared as much as possible. Drugs, antibiotics and vitamins for preventing and treating colds should also be prepared, just in case.

B. Due to the cold climate in the plateau and the large temperature difference between day and night, it is necessary to prepare enough warm clothes to prevent catching cold. Both colds and respiratory infections may cause acute altitude sickness.

C. If severe symptoms of altitude sickness appear on the way to the plateau, it should be treated immediately, and aminophylline or nifedipine 20 mg should be taken sublingually in time. In severe cases, oxygen should be inhaled. In case of severe chest tightness, severe cough, dyspnea, pink foam phlegm cough, or slow response, indifference or even coma, in addition to the above treatment, you should go to a nearby hospital for rescue as soon as possible, or transfer to a lower altitude area for treatment and recovery as soon as possible.

D. Because it takes time and effort to enter the plateau by car, the accommodation conditions on the way are poor and the physical requirements are high, in addition to the above items, water or drinks and delicious and digestible food should be prepared to replenish the necessary water and heat in time.

Fourth, answer questions.

1. You don't need to do any exercise before entering Tibet. Many people are afraid of altitude sickness and think that they should keep fit before going to Tibet. In fact, high reflexes have nothing to do with being strong. Ordinary people don't need to exercise deliberately. If you are really worried, you can jog one month in advance, but don't exercise one week before you leave.

2. Altitude sickness is also divided into mild and severe. When entering a plateau like Tibet for the first time, some people will have symptoms such as headache, tinnitus, shortness of breath, general weakness and insomnia. What's more, they may even have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, palpitations and turn purple. Generally, a slightly higher reaction will get used to it within 1~2 days after entering Tibet for the first time. Severe altitude sickness, including brain edema and pulmonary edema, must be sent to the nearest hospital immediately, otherwise it may lead to shock, and in severe cases it may threaten death.

Altitude sickness has nothing to do with flying into Tibet. Going to Tibet by train will help your body adapt to the rising altitude. But in many cities, it takes more than 40 hours to get to Tibet by train, which is really tiring. Due to the long journey, many tourists began to resist at Tanggula Pass. At this time, you can choose to take the train in two stages, stay in Xining or Xi 'an for a day or two, and then buy a train ticket to Tibet in Xining (friendly reminder: there are too many scalpers in Xining, and the train ticket is too high). If you don't have much time and are well-off, it is worth recommending that you choose to fly to Tibet. The online statement that "flying to Tibet will cause altitude sickness" is incorrect. Altitude sickness is not caused by flying. Some people still have a high reaction when they slowly enter Tibet in road trip. It is worth mentioning that no matter whether you enter Tibet by plane or train, don't wash your hair and take a bath on the day you arrive in Lhasa. You really love cleanliness. Remember to blow dry your hair after washing it.

4. Heart disease, asthma and hypertension are not suitable for Tibet. Generally speaking, most people can travel to Tibet unless they are seriously ill. People in the following six situations are not suitable for coming: A, suffering from various heart diseases, blood diseases and cerebrovascular diseases B, suffering from chronic respiratory diseases. Epilepsy, schizophrenia or uncontrolled diabetes. Severe cold, fever or respiratory infection. E. Suffering from high altitude pulmonary edema, high altitude cerebral edema, high altitude hypertension, high altitude heart disease and high altitude polycythemia. F, high-risk pregnant women, the general travel society directly refuses to receive pregnant women, and at the same time does not recommend pregnant women to travel to Tibet by themselves.

People with a bad cold should not enter Tibet. In the case of a cold, the trachea and lungs are often inflamed, the human body's resistance is weak, and the oxygen content in the plateau is low. If a cold easily worsens into bronchitis, pulmonary edema or pneumonia, it will not be worth the loss. Besides, it takes a long time to recover from a cold in plateau areas.

6, just arrived in Tibet, less activity, drink more water. Do not take a bath; Have a light diet and drink plenty of water (non-drinks); Don't rush to play around, go to the city first, let your body adapt to the plateau slowly, and then go to a higher altitude to play; Get more rest.

7. Single women are not recommended to ride in Sichuan and Tibet. The Sichuan-Tibet line has a south line and a north line. The southern line is 2 140 km long, and the northern line of Sichuan and Tibet is 24 12 km long. Generally, we take the southern line on foot for about a week. At present, it is not recommended for single young women to hike the Sichuan-Tibet line, especially for "poor travel" in Tibet. Losing their virginity is second, and their lives are still their own. Risk factors should be weighed by themselves.

8, find someone to carpool, don't be greedy. Many backpackers don't like to join tour groups in travel agencies, and prefer to hire a car with like-minded people, which is more free. There are three main ways to find someone to carpool. One is to contact a professional travel car rental company and let it release carpooling information on its behalf. The second is to send a post to the Tibet Tourism Forum to charter a car together; The third is to post small advertisements in the sticker area of youth travel. Warm reminder, be sure to find a vehicle with a legal operating license. The tourist bus in Lhasa is a license plate with the beginning of AL, so don't be greedy for a short time. Many "black cars" have a high accident rate, because drivers are generally private cars that have not been inspected and are prone to failure. Some drivers have just entered Tibet and make a living by running black cars. In fact, they know nothing about Tibet except Lhasa. As for his driving skills, I dare not compliment him.

9. Use China Mobile's mobile phone number to go to Tibet. There are cell phone signals in most parts of Tibet, especially in towns with relatively large populations. Don't worry at all, but sometimes the weather affects the signal, and the signal is not very good. Only in some no-man's land in northern Tibet, there is no cell phone signal. At present, after testing, China Mobile has the best signal in Tibet, followed by China Telecom and China Unicom. After Unicom left Lhasa, there was no signal in many places.

10. There are many banks in Tibet, so it is better to bring CCB card or ABC card. In Lhasa, there are many banks, Postal Savings Bank, Agricultural Bank and China Construction Bank in China, and most of them have ATMs, so it is convenient to withdraw money. It is recommended to bring CCB savings card and ABC credit card to facilitate withdrawal and credit card swiping. At present, ICBC has only one Tibet branch in Lhasa, and there are few ATM points, so it is not recommended. At present, CITIC Bank and Minsheng Bank are newly opened in the past two years. In addition, there is a local bank in Tibet, the Bank of Tibet, which is dominated by local users.

1 1. For tourists coming to Tibet for the first time, we suggest that the itinerary should be arranged for about one week (excluding the heavy traffic time), such as going to Lhasa, Linzhi, Basongcuo, Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, Shigatse and Namtso for 8 nights and 9 days. This panoramic tour route has been widely selected by the public, and people have a more comprehensive understanding of the scenic spots in Tibet. Tell me about this 10 point about Tibet tourism. Fifth, medical and health issues.

1. Patients with severe hypertension and heart disease should not enter Tibet. Please don't bring a bad cold into Tibet.

2. Tibet is located in the plateau, and most guests will have altitude sickness to a certain extent. As long as they pay attention to rest and eat reasonably (don't eat too much, increase the burden on the stomach), they will naturally overcome it; You can take some drugs appropriately, such as Gao Yuan 'an, Rhodiola, Nuodikang, etc. In severe cases, appropriate oxygen or salt water can be used.

3. In view of the special situation in Tibet, please pay attention to safety and remember not to leave the team or change the itinerary without authorization; Please leave your valuables at the front desk of the hotel, not in the room. Please go out to play in the evening, and be sure to return to the hotel before 12: 00 in the evening, so as not to affect the next day's trip.

Because of the long route in Tibet, I spend more time in the car, so I can't eat on time. Please bring some snacks and biscuits. American ginseng can refresh you, bring some.

Due to the special conditions in Tibet, please keep warm. Please try not to take a bath on the first day to avoid catching a cold.

6. The temperature difference between morning and evening in Tibet is large and the temperature is low. Please be sure to bring a sweater, a thick coat and jeans to keep warm.

7. Tibet has strong sunshine and a particularly dry climate. Sunscreen, sunglasses and lip balm are essential.

8. Due to the special situation in Tibet, the whole meal in Lhasa-Shigatse, Linzhi and Shannan is mainly Sichuan cuisine, but it can also be properly prepared according to the taste of the guests.

9. The elevation of major areas in Tibet: Lhasa is 3,650 meters, Namtso is 4,770 meters; Linzhi 3040m, Bomi 2750m, Ranwu Lake 3807m, Medog 1225m, Shigatse 3860m, Gyangze 3977m, Yadong 2300m, Dingri 44 10m, Rongbu Temple 5 100m and Zhangmu 2600. Shannan (Zedang) 3580m, Langxian 3100m; Saga 4502 meters, Pulan 42 16 meters, Shiquan River 4279 meters, changed to 4350 meters.

Buy enough film before going out; Digital cameras have enough spare storage space. There are many camera maintenance gas stations near Potala Palace in Tibet.

Six, during the journey:

Appropriate consumption of butter tea, dairy products and beef and mutton can enhance the adaptability to the plateau climate. When you first enter the plateau, rest more, drink more water, eat more fruits, and ban alcohol. Don't run, don't do strenuous exercise. Diet should be moderate, not overeating, so as not to increase the burden on the stomach. You can eat more vegetables and fruits and drink more water. It is best to drink enough water before morning activities. Drink more water when you are active, but drink less every time. It's best not to smoke or drink. When traveling on the plateau, you should wear loose and warm clothes. Because of the strong sunshine, it is best to wear sunglasses, sun hat and sunscreen to avoid ultraviolet rays burning the skin. Also, you should bring your own snacks (such as chocolate and raisins) when you enter the plateau. Tibet is a special region. Please let the group members live in harmony and respect the culture and belief habits in ethnic areas.
