From June 5438 to October 2008 10, the library moved to No.999, Hucheng Ring Road, Lingang New City, and the original Simon Road Campus and Xuehai Road Campus Library merged again. The graphic information center where the new library is located is the tallest landmark building in the campus, located in the central area of the campus, which not only provides convenience for all teachers and students to use the library, but also has the architectural style of Jiangnan Academy, which is "simple and elegant, elegant and noble" and has a strong scholarly atmosphere. The new building is located on the first to sixth floors of the graphic information center, with a total area of more than 20,000 square meters. The service mode of combining borrowing with teaching and students is adopted, and the borrowing area is 8000 square meters. The library consists of five departments: office, resource construction department, lending department, information consulting department and reader service department.

The new library adopts Interlib library management system developed by Guangzhou Tuchuang Computer Software Development Co., Ltd. for daily work management. With the continuous expansion of the school scale, our library not only insists on taking aquatic science literature as its school-running feature, but also takes into account other disciplines and attaches great importance to the collection of digital literature resources. At present, there are more than ten full-text databases and two e-book databases at home and abroad. Readers can use these databases for free in the campus network.
