Have you read Fabres's book Insects? It introduces many "secrets" and stories about insects, which can be said to be very interesting and worth savoring. The following is an excerpt from my notes on entomology brought to you by 10 for your reference!

Notes on Entomology (1)

This National Day holiday, I read the famous French natural science book Insects. As soon as I got the book, I couldn't put it down and immediately read it with relish.

After reading the preface, I know that the author of this book is French entomologist Fabres. His family is poor and can't go to school. But he diligently taught himself, and successively obtained a bachelor's degree in mathematics, a bachelor's degree in physics and a doctor's degree in natural science. He spent 34 years observing and wrote 2.5 million words of Insects. This book is even more known as "the epic of insects".

After reading this book, I think it describes the life of insects in detail. Reading this book is like entering the insect world, full of fun. Even the hated dung beetles became interesting in this book. For example, the dung beetle dug a dung ball, then erected its serrated front legs and pressed it hard with both hands, only to see it climb on the dung ball, twist its body, keep pressing it in this direction, and then hit it in that direction to clean up the surface of the dung ball. This passage is really attractive.

The insects in this book are amazing. Children, come and make friends with insects!

Notes on Entomology (2)

"One insect and one world, one leaf and one bodhi". In Fabres's works, all kinds of small life and everything in the world, which are usually unnoticed and invisible, are so colorful and splendid. There is description, imagination and feeling, just like telling a wonderful and vivid story, which is the wonder that insects bring us.

In order to serve ourselves, we are running, busy and impetuous every day. We have no time to pay attention to this small world, no ability to pay attention to the growth of children, and no mind to pay attention to the changes in the world. The usual reason can't even reach the realm of selflessness. Even if everything in the world brings us happiness, we will turn a blind eye.

Yes, when you pay attention to this "micro-world", you will not only increase your understanding of the world we live in, but also have a kind of shock and strength in your heart, which will make you feel the will of life, as if you have entered another world, with no distractions in your heart, away from rationality, and galloping freely with your own mood.

Small life is an independent world, and there is a relationship between them. Those who can get pleasure from these trivial things are the ones who have entered another realm of life. His mood must be relaxed, his mind must be open-minded, and his mind must be lofty, as far away as Tao Yuanming and Fabres, and we are all striving for the near.

It's good to be classmates with my son and grow up together.

Notes on Entomology (3)

I read Entomology by entomologist Fabres this week, which introduced many "secrets" and stories of insects.

The protagonists of this book are some wonderful and interesting insects, some of which we have seen and some of which we have not seen. They all have their own scripts. Insects are creatures that appeared on the earth earlier than humans, even before dinosaurs.

Ants are industrious and United insects, and they are also very United. They have sex every day.

There are a few vigorous characters on our blackboard, "unite and keep discipline, make progress", which seems to tell us that if we want to be a pillar of talent beneficial to the motherland in the future, we must unite and keep discipline and make progress! Do you know who are the "environmental defenders" around the world? Yes, he is a dung beetle, also known as "the scavenger of nature". If you think they are useless, you are all wet! He is a "great hero" to save New Zealand pastures! Like the cleaners, they make contributions silently. People always insult them, and they don't care, as if they didn't hear them. What would the earth be like if there were no cleaners in the world? Butterflies are very common insects. They are very beautiful, and they have gone through many difficulties to become beautiful butterflies. Let's start with the ugly caterpillar. Not all caterpillars can become butterflies. They have many natural enemies. We should also work as hard as butterflies, and only after suffering can we get the joy of success!

All kinds of insects in the world have their own scripts, and some of them have beautiful endings. If you want a happy ending, you must work harder. Some endings are tragic. If you don't want a tragic ending, don't stop, don't rest and don't lose at the starting line. Our script must be made up by ourselves. If you want a happy ending, you must study hard and work hard!

Notes on Entomology (IV)

I still remember the first time I saw the book Insect, and when I saw the word "Insect" on the cover, I couldn't help losing interest. Compared with the wonderful adventures of Two Wan Li under the Sea and Robinson Crusoe, compared with the memorable stories of Childhood and Jane Eyre, it seems unremarkable.

I picked up this book and was gradually attracted by its contents. The author described one lovely insect after another in a relaxed, humorous, delicate and vivid language: the cicada singing loudly, the brainless construction worker wasp, the terrible spider in the palace, and the green slug whose reputation was "usurped", all of which seemed insignificant. In particular, I read the story of cricket, which waited underground for a year and only lived for a week when it was out of the ground, but still sang loudly. I was moved by the spirit that crickets cherish themselves and live a noble life. And the author said: They not only sing for the beauty of nature, but also sing for their own life recovery. This sentence has been engraved in my heart for a long time.

I think this is the love of nature!

I still remember my favorite thing when I was a child was lying on the grass watching ants. I always like to put my hand in front of a little dark red thing when it drills through thick grass. When it climbed this fleshy pillar and raised its hand, the ants could only run aimlessly in my hand and watch their thin feet interweave back and forth quickly. That anxious look always makes me laugh. I was so obsessed with this game at that time, and with the passage of time, with more and more things in contact, I gradually lost interest. Fabrice was full of curiosity and love for nature since he was a child, and his continuation and persistence in this love made him write such a true, literary and scientific Insect Story.

In life, we should all love, persist, persevere and work hard for our goals like Fabres, and you will reach the other side of victory!

Notes on Entomology (5)

During the summer vacation, my mother bought me a book called Insects. After reading it, I was very interested in insects, and I liked them more and more.

French writer Fables is the author of this great insect story. He has the general thought of a philosopher, the general observation ability of an artist and the general feelings and descriptions of a writer. He spent all his time observing and studying insects and recorded them. This masterpiece cost him his life.

It has been translated into more than 50 languages.

Through the author's description, I can imagine insects in action, cicadas singing, crickets managing housework, spiders catching food ... what a magical nature. Mammals are predatory and parasitic, so are insects. When cicadas lay eggs, one is smaller than an ant.

Some insects will lay eggs on cicada eggs, which develop several months faster than cicadas. The larvae of this insect feed on cicada eggs for their own growth and development.

When I was a child, I watched the cartoon "Sheriff's Black Cat". One episode said that on the wedding night, the female mantis ate the male mantis, and then the sheriff's black cat came to solve the case. I always thought it was just a fabrication After reading Bug, I found that this cartoon is a real science and education story. Let me know that mantis is a kind of

Ruthless insect, the mother mantis can swallow her relatives in disbelief and never come back after laying eggs, no matter whether her own children grow up healthily or not!

In this book, the author combines professional knowledge with life perception, and expresses his unique vision of life in the description of insects' daily life habits and characteristics. Between the lines is full of the author's own love for life.

In this book, the author doesn't finish his work through dissection and other processes, but personally blends into nature, regardless of the danger of wild adventure, just like describing wasps. The author described in detail how to observe the hornet's nest at that time and how to understand their habits, which was very exciting.

Fun.

I like the book Insects very much. When you are free, you pick it up and immerse yourself in it, as if you were exploring the mystery of the insect world with Fabres.

Notes on Entomology (6)

"Insect", a word that sounds too learned, is not like people's daily spoken language. But the number of insects is tens of millions times more than that of human beings, but people turn a blind eye and don't want to feel this life seriously. Are they really that small?

Fables is a famous entomologist. He devoted his whole life to the insect world. He studies insects. He was scolded by his parents and expelled from school. But he didn't give up, insisted on studying insects and eventually became a famous entomologist. Fabres grew up in a poor family, but others are not poor. He earned several degrees in succession by his own efforts. He was penniless in the first half of his life and barely had enough food and clothing in the second half, but he was diligent in self-study, constantly observing insects and constantly making new achievements. Fabres's greatest interest in his life is to explore life and discover the scientific truth contained in nature.

The first time I read entomology, I felt bored, but the more I read it, the more interesting it became, and I fell in love with it deeply. This is a popular science book describing the birth, labor, hunting and death of insects. Simple words are fresh and natural. Reading this book makes me feel like I am in the world of insects, and I see the figure of insects that I have neglected for too long. I heard their chirping, which I have forgotten for too long; Thinking that I have omitted my thoughts about insects for too long, the story of insects is not the world created by Fabres, but the most basic fact he wrote down in his life. It is the loneliness and hardship of Fabres's life every day and every night. It is lonely, quiet and almost isolated from the world. This book made me enter a vivid insect world for the first time.

The Story of Insects is a miracle, a life movement composed by Fabres, an outstanding representative of human beings, and many ordinary people in nature-insects.

Notes on Entomology (7)

A few days ago, I finished reading the book Insects. I especially like this book, because it can let me know more about insects, and it is a process of expanding my knowledge.

There are many insects in this book. Such as: the singer cricket in the grass, the golden beetle commonly known as the gardener, and the vicious scorpion ... these insects are unique, with both good and bad sides. Now let's get to know them.

Jin, known as the gardener, is particularly cruel. They not only eat insects, but also eat their own kind! They kill each other until the weak die. When they win, they can easily eat each other. It's really terrible!

The singer cricket in the grass hides in the grass on the Chaoyang slope. They seldom show up during the day. Until the lights are turned on at night, they collide with their tentacles to make a sound, thus hearing the sound of "branches".

Besides the insects I introduced, there are many insects in the book. Some are cute and lively, some are treacherous and greedy, some are strong, some are timid, some are evil, some are domineering, some are majestic, some are morbid ... I hope everyone can read it and learn more about insects.

Notes on Entomology (8)

It's good to watch entomology on vacation.

The first entomology book in the world was published in France at the end of 19 and the beginning of the 20th century. It is an encyclopedia of insects that integrates natural science and humanistic care. At that time, The Tale of Insects was a book with a volume of 10, with two or three million words. In Tales of Insects, the author combines professional knowledge with life perception. By describing the characteristics and daily life habits of an insect, the author's unique vision of life is reflected, and the author's own love and respect for life are permeated between the lines. As soon as it was published, this book became a best seller at that time and played an important role in the history of natural science and literature in France. It is not only a scientific masterpiece to study insects, but also a magnificent poem to eulogize life. Known as "the epic of insects", Fabres won the titles of "Poet of Science", "Homer of Insects" and "Founder of Animal Psychology", and was nominated by Nobel Prize in Literature on 19 10.

My favorite story is Firefly, which describes the characteristics and living habits of fireflies. The writing is meticulous and profound, and metaphors and personification are used in many places.

Entomology was written by Fabres, an outstanding representative of human beings, and there are many common sub-names in nature-insects.

Notes on Entomology (9)

During this time, my son, who loves animals, fell in love with the children's version of Fables Insect Tales, and he couldn't put down every volume. What kind of operation experts-sand mud bees, clever hunters-mud bees, war fanatics-red ants, etc. All of them are endowed with life and emotion by Mr. Fables. His son and his insect friends seem to have known each other for a long time, and even play with plasticine, so that his mother can help him out.

Mr. Fables wrote an interesting story about serious scholarship, which was vivid, interesting and full of poetry. His mind and words are as pure, simple and imaginative as children. A kind of small insects in his works, full of joys and sorrows, are lifelike, and all have magical abilities endowed by nature. Even adults like me are deeply attracted. I never thought that natural science could write such an interesting story.

My son and I studied the bravery and discipline of red ants together, appreciated the power of small parasitic flies, admired the professionalism of sand mud bees in preying on moth larvae, and even lamented the magic and natural laws of the insect world. Looking at these stories, I can't help but feel awe of nature and all life.

And the author of this book, Mr. Fabers, who can imagine that his creative process is full of hardships, wearing a farmer's woolen coat and eating simple meals, and tirelessly engaged in entomological research in the wild and rural areas all his life. In such a difficult material environment, he can still maintain a childlike innocence and persistence, which is admirable. Fables, together with his "Tales of Insects", brings us double touch and spiritual food!

Notes on Entomology (10)

In this winter vacation, I finally finished reading the book Insects in Fabres. This set of books mainly describes fifteen representative insects in Fabres's original works. The image of every insect in the book is vivid and lovely, and we can even see their joys and sorrows through words.

Among these fifteen different insects, the one that impressed me the most was the summer musician-cicada, and the tarantula, the king of soil poison.

Cicada is the most common insect in summer. Because every female cicada will dig many small holes with a depth of 0.5 cm to 1 cm on the dry branches thicker than straw stalks and thinner than pencils in July, lay about 400 eggs in them, and then die of fatigue. When larvae in eggs break out of their shells, they shed their membranes. When their bodies are dry, they jump from the tree to the ground and then find a soft land to build a house. Their food is the sap in the roots of underground trees. Cicada larvae will live underground for four years, molt for four times, then climb to the ground, climb the tree and experience the last molting. When the body comes out of the shell completely and then dries, it is an adult cicada. Cicada has a characteristic that only the male cicada can sing, but the female cicada can't.

There is a kind of spider called "tarantula", which, as the name implies, is as terrible as a wolf. Unlike other spiders, tarantulas don't weave webs, but dig holes in the ground and live in them. Their cave is very strange, consisting of a room and a passage. When the prey enters the hole, it quickly comes out of the room, kills the prey and enjoys it slowly.

I learned a lot about insects by reading Insects in Fabres. I like this set of books.
