Students enter the school library or intranet, find the entrance of HowNet, enter the correct author's name and paper title according to the prompt, upload the paper to check the duplicate, and finally wait for the result. The undergraduate thesis is submitted to pmlc system, and the doctoral thesis is submitted to VIP5. 1 for duplicate checking, and the duplicate checking result will be obtained 1-3 hours after submission. Many colleges and universities can provide students with 1-3 free duplicate checking opportunities, and each student will get the corresponding account password.
The specific steps are as follows:
Step 1: Go to the homepage of HowNet, select user login, and enter the account and password provided by the school.
Step 2: Select the duplicate checking system of HowNet. Users enter ki.cn/ in Baidu browser, enter HowNet to check official website, click the place shown below on the homepage of duplicate checking, and then users need to choose the appropriate duplicate checking system according to their own paper characteristics.
Step 3: Upload the paper.
Take the uploading of undergraduate thesis as an example. After entering the duplicate checking system, users need to fill in all parts as shown in the figure below. Users need to pay attention to the fact that the size of the uploaded paper file cannot exceed 30M and the number of words in the paper cannot exceed 60,000 words, otherwise it cannot be uploaded correctly. After all input is completed, the user can click the submit test button.
Step 4: Download the duplicate check report of HowNet.
After uploading, users need to wait for about 30 minutes (it may take one to two hours to queue during peak hours). After the inspection is repeated, the user needs to click Select to download the test report as shown in the figure below, enter the order number or reserved mobile phone number, and click the query report button. If the test is shown in the figure below, the user can click the download button, and the test report is a compressed package, which can be opened normally after decompression.
