Nanjing Railway Vocational and Technical College is the only rail transit vocational college in the Yangtze River Delta region. It is a vocational college jointly established by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Shanghai Railway Bureau and Pukou District Government. It is also one of the vocational colleges with the longest running history and the greatest influence in the rail transit industry, and is known as the "Whampoa Military Academy" for training rail transit talents in East China.
