I suddenly feel that I want to share it at last, and I don't know what to share. Many teachers in front have shared the learning experience of teacher Liu Ying's picture book course. Such detailed notes make me feel particularly ashamed. I was the last person to take notes.
In fact, I have been in contact with picture books for a long time, but I feel that I have not really entered the heart of picture books. Although I also read some related theoretical books intermittently. But I feel that I have been wandering outside the door and have no clue. After listening to teacher Liu Ying's picture book course, combined with some books I read, I talk about my feelings and understanding of picture books and some thoughts.
Understanding of a picture book.
The word picture book corresponds to an English picture book. This aspect should be related to European and American countries. It should have originated and matured in western countries. Just from the name, since it is called a picture book, as a key to this concept, we can see the important role of pictures in the composition of picture books.
Let me share with you what I have seen. We all know Comenius is a famous educator in Czech Republic. 1658, he published Pictures of the World, which is recognized as the earliest illustrated children's book in Europe. This book is also called the earliest picture book in the world. The World Seen in Pictures published by Shanghai Bookstore on 200 1 is the China edition of this book.
For picture books with few words, pictures are particularly important. Song Ju said that picture books are books that adults read to children. Especially children, they can't read. When we adults read picture books to our children, their ears are listening to the sound, but their attention is focused on the pictures. This is why children's ability to read pictures is better than that of adults. Because we pay attention to words and children pay attention to pictures.
As a book for young children, it may be originally what we generally call a story book with pictures and texts. With its development and prosperity, pictures are not only illustrations, but also carry more important significance. This is what we call picture books now.
Picture books are the earliest literary works that children contact. It is the first choice for children's books in developed countries, and it is internationally recognized that "picture books are the most suitable books for children to read". It is different from ordinary "picture books", cartoons or other children's books with pictures and words, and has high requirements for language, painting and its form. ?
Song Juzhi, a Japanese picture book expert, said the criteria for judging picture books like this: "If you just use pictures as a supplement and explanation to the article, or add pictures to make children happy, such a book cannot be called a picture book. What is a picture book? Picture books are articles that draw and talk. Articles and pictures are all talking in different ways and expressing the same theme. " That is, the common formula he put forward: picture × text = picture book.
It is a children's literature work composed of concise and vivid language and exquisite and beautiful paintings. It is an independent book form, with special emphasis on the internal relationship between words and pictures. It tells a complete story with pictures and words, and it is an ensemble work. Here, pictures are no longer the vassals of words, but the life of books, many of which are even wordless books without a word. "Pictures can tell stories without words." Words and pictures play an important role in telling stories, and pictures are no longer just the auxiliary and explanation of words. However, there are many ways to achieve the balance between graphics and text. A good picture book can make an illiterate child "read" the main idea just by looking at the picture. Of course, it can also be appreciated by adults, and the more you watch it, the more you want to see it. Many of its meanings are also enlightening to us adults.
How did the picture book come into being? I am really curious about this. Do you have words before pictures? Still have pictures with words?
Niaoshi, a Japanese picture book researcher, said that picture books have three kinds of graphic relationships. Article oriented, painting oriented, and at the same time. For example, Fox had this famous story when he bought gloves, and then he made it into a picture book. This should be article-oriented.
This ideal state should be carried out at the same time, so it is not difficult to understand why many classic picture books are partners and some are graphic people. In the past, I paid little attention to the author, except the famous one, which also gave me an inspiration that a writer and a photo author must pay attention to.
But in any case, picture books are inseparable from pictures and words, and there is a narrative composed of pictures and words.
Picture books are also called picture books. The word "picture book" comes from Japanese. Japanese picture books started in the 1950s and rose in the 1970s, and now they have become a big country. Picture books in Taiwan Province Province started in the late 1960s, and gradually got better after 1980s. At present, domestic picture books are only in the primary stage. There is not a particularly strict and unified theoretical concept for picture books.
Picture books and picture books are often mixed.
Personally, I prefer picture books. Mainly the picture book I mentioned when I first came into contact with it.
Interpretation of two picture books
No matter how to use picture books in class, the most important thing is personal interpretation of picture books.
1 is the narrative way of picture books.
From cover to ring lining to title page text and so on.
What matters is the picture. Needless to say, the details, except its color, lines, composition, painting methods and so on. I am not an art major. At most, you can see the differences in some places, such as cold and warm colors, but you really can't see others, such as watercolor painting or oil painting. Crayon drawing? Or a patch painting? Is it also related to the topic he wants to express? And its composition, is it a distant view or a close-up view? Or highlight the details, look down or look up? What does it have to do with the theme to be expressed?
If you can understand the meaning of a picture, it is more vivid and direct than understanding words.
In addition, I think we can't ignore the writers and painters of picture books.
For example, the writer, his study experience, family background, his related works, the painter's painting style and so on.
For example, the picture book is late. The pictures and texts are all from John Berlin. In fact, many of his picture books are created from the standpoint of children, because his childhood was spent in Xiashan School, which pursues free education. It can also explain why I think the teacher is a negative image when I read this book in the later period of the king.
Third, classroom teaching.
This work is more of an idea of mine.
The application of 1. in teaching. Besides the example provided by Liu Ying, what other models are there?
How will we use it in Chinese teaching? Is it a supplement to the text or a reading and writing training? Or moral education?
2. How to better apply it to class management?
3. Read in groups. On the one hand, how to read the theme, on the other hand, how to cooperate with the same author.
4. How to teach online?
