Shanxi Datong University is a multidisciplinary university approved by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education in 2006, which was formed by the merger of former Yanbei Normal College, Datong Medical College, Datong Vocational and Technical College and Shanxi Industrial Vocational and Technical College.
