Chizhou College is two universities. Chizhou College is located in Chizhou City, Anhui Province, an excellent tourist city in China, which is the hometown of thousands of poets. It is a provincial comprehensive undergraduate college. Founded in 1977, it was originally a specialized class in Chizhou area of Anhui University of Labor. 1980 was named Chizhou Teachers College. 1999 merged with the former Chizhou Industrial School, merged with the former Anhui Economic and Trade School in 2002, and was upgraded to Chizhou College in 2007.

The school now covers an area of 1959 mu, with a school building area of 367,700 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is134,538,700 yuan, and there are13719,000 paper books, 804,500 e-books and nearly 2,000 Chinese and foreign paper periodicals.

Chizhou College has 13 teaching and research units. Among them, the College of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence was identified by the Ministry of Education as the first batch of project construction institutions of "Data China Hundred Schools Project".
