The library now has nine departments, including office, editorial department, technical department, circulation department, reading department, newspaper department, ancient books department, consulting department and five departments office of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.

At present, there are 72 staff members from 14 ethnic groups in the museum. Among them, senior title 10, intermediate title 39, junior title 1 1, others12; There are 5 doctors, 12 masters, 28 undergraduates, 25 junior college students and 2 others.

At present, the library of Minzu University of China is striding towards the goal of being a world-class university library, making it a national information center for ethnic literature and a document resource guarantee base for school discipline construction.
