The library of Changshu Institute of Technology consists of the Yifu Library of Donghu Campus and the Library of Southeast Campus, with a total construction area of more than 22,000 square meters.

This five-story building stands on the beautiful Kuncheng Lake and is surrounded by Zichuan River. The whole building is a blend of traditional quadrangle architecture in China and colonnade architecture in the west, and a blend of Taoist water culture and Confucian mountain culture, which is in harmony with the surrounding environment and brings out the best in each other.

Architectural introduction:

The southeast campus library, with a total construction area of 24,000 square meters, is located on the central axis of the school and is the tallest single building in our school at present. The southeast campus library is located on the east bank of Kuncheng Lake, facing Shaw Library across the lake. The lakes and mountains are beautiful, birds and flowers are fragrant, which adds natural charm to the library. The colors of water, gray and white reflect the flavor of Jiangnan culture.

At present, the two libraries have more than 65,438 paper documents +0.2 million copies, more than 3 million e-books, nearly 2,000 paper periodicals and more than 30,000 e-periodicals, and the annual subscription of Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals is 1.958.

There are 30 available databases (including trial resources), storage devices 17TB, network digital information resources capacity of 7.5TB, and nearly17,000 certified readers inside and outside the school. The two libraries have paper lending rooms 12, 565 electronic reading rooms and 3,896 reading places.

There are 60 librarians, including 2 doctors, 3 masters, 38 bachelors, 3 senior titles and 10 deputy senior titles.
