The Library Equipment of Fuzhou University Library
The total building area of the library is 495 million square meters, of which Yishan Campus10.4 million square meters and Qishan Campus is 35,500 square meters. Qishan Campus Building is the landmark building of Fuzhou University's new campus. The new library building is located in the central area of the new campus-the square, and the main building has five floors above ground.

Xiguan Library is located in the northeast of Yishan Campus Library of Fuzhou University. It is the first western classic library in China. It was built by Christopher Schipper, an academician of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences and a sinologist, and his wife. There are 4,576 kinds of western classics and sinology works in the collection, among which there are many unique literature archives of western classics in science, philosophy and aesthetics from 16 to 18 century, as well as a large number of historical and cultural documents related to Fujian and Taiwan provinces.

The existing building is formed by connecting and merging three buildings, which reflects the development and growth of the museum in the 1960s, 1980s and 1990s, with an area of14000m2. There are various books and periodicals lending rooms (libraries) 10, 3 Chinese and foreign book stacks, 2 network and CD retrieval laboratories, 1 copy room 1, 1 multi-function lecture hall 1, 2 literature retrieval courses, and 1 library service department 1. All kinds of equipment mainly include: 8 network servers, 2 computers 1 5 (in use), 8 printers 18, optical disc towers 1 set, 2 recorders, projectors 1 set, 3 scanners, 4 photocopiers, business cards and plastic machines/kloc-0.
