What influence did the Renaissance have on Spanish drama?
/kloc-At the end of 0/5th century, religious dramas popular in the Middle Ages continued to be staged in Spain. However, after the baptism of the Renaissance, the form of Spanish drama also changed imperceptibly, and some playwrights began to use the external form of religious drama to express the wonderful taste of secular life. This indicates that the drama pattern in which religious dramas dominate the world has lost its solid social foundation. During this period, folk drama groups began to appear, resulting in professional actors. In order to win the audience, the troupe has to choose the performance content and drama form that ordinary people are interested in, and the secular interest of drama has a tendency to strengthen. This trend of thought has developed and expanded, breaking through the shackles of feudal churches on drama and creating a prosperous situation of Spanish drama.
