Collecting treasures to help students ~ ~ A trip to Mingxi-
On August 24th, a group of six people from our treasure hunt assistance group set off from Xiamen at 6: 30 am and arrived at Mingxi, Sanming at 10: 46. Return to Xiamen at 22: 30 in the evening. I was deeply moved by this visit!

First, the backbone volunteers are very professional and dedicated!

The four enthusiastic volunteers who accompanied us to the home visit were Yu, Dai Jinxiu and Chen.

Yu is the chief of the finance department of Mingxi County Civil Affairs Bureau, a member of the publicity group of Mingxi County's direct organs, the president of Xianxian Social Workers Association, the president of the Confucian reading club of Mingxi County Huazang Library, and the head of the marriage counseling room of the County Civil Affairs Bureau. Since the establishment of the Marriage Education Counseling Office in Mingxi County on February 20 15, he has led 17 volunteers to successfully mediate and persuade 289 divorced couples. A couple communicated and persuaded for three days. When President Yu summed up the significance and value of marriage education consulting service, he made a very humorous metaphor: "Those who failed in premarital education and training, just like driving without a license, went out. In order to better solve these social problems, President Yu set up a Confucian reading club in Huazang Library to promote the traditional Confucian thoughts of national treasures in a public way, educate every loving couple to "pay attention to family, family education and family style" and guide how to create a happy life. Jin Yuan, who was visiting with President Yu, said, "President Yu is really capable. He is a village director at the grassroots level and has worked in the Civil Affairs Bureau. He is very familiar with the family he visited and the local poverty alleviation policy is very clear. He can give guidance on the spot. Blessed are the children of Mingxi!

Another professional is Yu Wen, the very low-key vice president of Mingxi County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During the visit, I met a sick parent, who enthusiastically gave some Chinese medicine dietotherapy remedies, which was very effective and grounded help! Doctors treat the heart and instruct parents and children how to be good people like the law. ...

Second, a question worth thinking about!

1, how to guide children to make choices?

Visiting classmate A, admitted to two books, is a child of a disabled family. My mother touched me very much. She was physically disabled and learned Braille and massage. In order to be grateful to those who have helped themselves, combined with the actual situation of their family, the mother persuaded her children to give up their favorite majors and schools, chose to study in Sanming local medical college for free and chose clinical medicine. Mom said that the child cried for several days ... after listening to it, I felt a lot. Is this the right choice? ..... If children don't really understand and accept, will there be psychological barriers? This is our follow-up service.

2. How to make up for the child's missing love?

B classmate's father died, his mother remarried, and his guardian was his uncle, but his uncle is now seriously ill and needs dialysis once every two or three days. My cousin is mentally retarded, my grandmother is also diabetic, and my aunt is the only healthy labor force in the family. When I asked the child if she missed her father, she cried. Asked if she wanted to live with her mother, she nodded and shook her head ... The child is very sensible and has a strong self-esteem and doesn't want to cause trouble to her mother's new family, but it can be seen that the child is actually eager for maternal love! Liu Yi, a volunteer of our colleague, is the head of the company's trade union and is usually responsible for the psychological services of employees. She volunteered to continue serving the child. ...

3. Do the children in the village committee need help? How to help?

C classmate's father is deaf, his mother is mentally retarded, and his grandparents are old and in poor health. My uncle is a member of the village committee. He is busy with the work in the village all day and is implementing a poverty alleviation project. Guide villagers to keep bees. ...

Doing public welfare is to solve social problems and create social value! Association's philosophy: "light finance, heavy humanities, relaxed public welfare, happy charity"! Through the two-month visit, I found the existing problems and put them forward for everyone to think and discuss, further improve and how to do better in the future!
