Development of Feng Zikai's Children's Painting Book Award
Chen Yixin Family Foundation was established in Hong Kong in 2003. It has been committed to promoting children's reading and parent-child reading, and sponsored schools in rural areas of China and Africa to set up children's libraries. In the process of promoting children's reading, we found that the proportion of translated children's books in the market far exceeded the original Chinese children's books, so we prepared the first Feng Zikai Children's Picture Book Award in the five years from 2004 to 2008, and held the "First Feng Zikai Children's Picture Book Award Launch Conference and Children's Picture Book International Forum" in Hong Kong on July 2 1 and 22, 2008. On July 22nd, 2009, the first prize presentation ceremony was held in Hong Kong. Eight judges from China, Hongkong, Taiwan Province and the United States selected the first prize 1 book, recommended picture creation award 1 book, recommended writing award 1 book, and nine excellent works from 330 books across the Taiwan Straits, and awarded them $20,000, $/kloc-0,000 and/kloc-0 respectively. The organizer also purchased 3000 copies of the first prize works and gave them to the school for education and reading promotion. This is the first international award for children's picture books in China. I hope to encourage more outstanding talents to create and publish high-quality original children's picture books in China, so as to enhance the public's attention and understanding of children's picture books in China.

Two years later, on August 30th, 20 1 1, the second award ceremony of "Feng Zikai Children's Picture Book Award" was held in the Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. The second Feng Zikai Children's Picture Book Award is divided into two groups: the "preliminary review" and the "final review", which are composed of * * *1/judges from different regions and children-related fields. After careful selection of 226 picture book works by the jury of the three places across the Taiwan Straits, 10 works were finally shortlisted.
