Changsha, Hunan, 1909 10 was born in Dongxiang, Changsha. I have received strict family education since I was a child and have been exposed to a lot of western knowledge. When he was in primary school, Mao Zedong taught him geography for several years. Later, he entered Yali Middle School.

1926 was admitted to the Department of History and Sociology of Sun Yat-sen University in Wuhan.

The following year, he was admitted to the Department of Western Literature of Fudan University in Shanghai.

1928 may 15 I learned from listening to Lu Xun's speech and began to establish contact with Lu Xun.

1929 went to Germany to study in August. He studied art history in the philosophy department of Heidelberg University, studied art history, practiced woodcut art, bought literature and printmaking works for Lu Xun, and created a portrait of Lu Xun in middle age, which was praised as the first person to create a new version of painting in China.

1August, 932, I finished my doctoral thesis defense, because my father returned to China after his funeral and was engaged in writing in Shanghai. Under the recommendation of Lu Xun, I wrote essays for Free Talk, a supplement to Shenbao, and published Miscellaneous Sediment Collection.

1934 translated and published Nietzsche's Quotations from Sulu, Sunglow, Happy Knowledge, Nietzsche's Autobiography and Goethe's Faust, and was the earliest expert on Nietzsche in China. His adolescence was a period of great disaster for the Chinese nation. He kept in mind Lu Xun's teaching that young people should be "slightly self-sufficient" and take their own academic and life path in a down-to-earth manner. After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he taught at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and moved to Yunnan and Chongqing.

At the beginning of 1945, he was appointed by the Ministry of Education of the National Government to participate in cultural exchanges between China and India, taught at Tagore International University in India, and studied ancient Indian philosophy, which was translated into Thirty Men of An Hui.
