The Development Strategy of Alexandria Library
In order to achieve these four goals, Xinyatu has formulated corresponding collection development policies. The following is the future development direction and collection focus of Xinyatu:

1. Considering that Xinyatu is the inheritance and development of the old library, the new library has the responsibility to comprehensively collect historical materials about the old library and its subordinate colleges. The collection scope is not limited to the academic scope at that time, but also includes the historical materials of other cultural centers during the Hellenistic period and the Hellenistic dissemination period.

Considering that the old museum made a great contribution to the spread of Greek culture in the past, it had a far-reaching impact on the academic achievements at that time, and even spread to the Renaissance in Europe. Moreover, in this era of rapid development of science and technology, a series of discussions on the relationship between science and ethics triggered by biotechnology and cloning technology have also prompted Xinyatu to take the history of science as the focus of its future collection, and the establishment of the Museum of History of Science has further clarified this development direction. In the future, Xinyatu will focus on information collection and research in many fields such as science and technology ethics, genetic genetics and biotechnology.

13. In view of the fact that the new museum is one of the collections of United Nations publications and plays the role of a cultural center in the Mediterranean region, Xinyatu will mainly focus on issues related to gender discrimination, water resources utilization and environmental sustainable development.

Because Xinyatu has a large number of precious manuscripts, Xinyatu introduces "knowledge management" into collection management, pays attention to the latest technology of preserving and arranging manuscripts, and takes the history of writing and calligraphy as a research topic. At the same time, we set up a calligraphy research center, hold seminars regularly, and hold calligraphy exhibitions in different countries. The center's first calligraphy exhibition showed China's calligraphy works.

5. After returning to Egypt, I mainly paid attention to Egyptology, and devoted myself to establishing a special Egyptian library to collect books and documents about Egypt in different languages for Egyptology experts to study and let the public know about Egypt's history, present situation and prospects.

Another characteristic collection is to collect all the information about Alexandria. There is a research center named "Alexandria and the Mediterranean", which aims to re-recognize the historical position of Alexandria, spread the academic achievements of Alexandria culture and Alexandria school, and reproduce the cultural diversity, understanding and cooperation in the Mediterranean region.
