1938 On April 10, 14, Japanese planes bombed Hunan University in Changsha. At that time, the largest Hunan University library in Central China and South China was bombed, leaving no Chinese or foreign names. Fortunately, the precious cultural relics moved by the Central Museum moved away a week ago. The Science Museum was also bombed and all its instruments, medicines and equipment were destroyed by the earthquake. The first and fifth student dormitories were shot down, and the first hospital, the second hospital, the factory, the second dormitory and the fourth dormitory were destroyed by the earthquake. The National Changsha Temporary University (later moved westward and renamed as National Southwest United University) temporarily stationed in Yuelu Academy also suffered serious losses.
