Xu Desheng is the second son of Xu Zhimo and Zhang Youyi. His nickname is Peter and he was born in 1922. In the same year, Zhang Youyi and Xu Zhimo signed a divorce. Many people think that Xu Zhimo's death is tantamount to a kind of "liberation", because Xu Zhimo has been in a dilemma and even exhausted situation in his love beyond life. He longed for a short and famous life like Byron and Shelley, and for the death of different mortals. What's more, Xu Zhimo was so obsessed with "flying" and "traveling" that he even took a pen name "Yun Zhonghe".
