brief Introduction of the content
Effective Managers tells us: Can a group of ordinary people do extraordinary things? This can be done completely. As long as everyone in our organization can achieve fruitful results. Can you learn to be fruitful? Effectiveness can be learned. Does everyone have to be efficient?
Efficiency is what managers must do, but in all knowledge-based organizations. Every knowledge worker is actually a manager-even if he has no so-called authority. As long as he can make outstanding contributions to the organization.
The effectiveness of managers is often the most critical factor to determine the effectiveness of organizational work; Not only senior managers are managers, but all those who are responsible for actions and decisions and help improve organizational efficiency should work and think like managers.
How effective? Record and analyze the use of time, pay attention to contribution, give full play to people's strengths, give priority to important things and make effective decisions.

foreword
I always feel that I am not qualified to preface Mr. Drucker's works, but the invitation of Huazhang Branch of Machinery Industry Press is still very polite. In addition, as one of the few China people who had a good reputation before Mr Drucker's death, I also have the responsibility to share with you the enlightenment I got from him.
In the early days of reform and opening up, Drucker and his wife came to China. Compared with the difficult process of Europeans recovering from the psychological shadow of war trauma after World War II, the China people he met were full of vitality and optimism, which surprised him. Ten years ago, I met Mr. Drucker for the first time. He told me that it was unhealthy for the world to be dominated by only one country after the disintegration of the Soviet Union. At least there should be another force that can check with the United States. Among the rising powers such as Russian, Indian, Brazilian and China, only China has this possibility. He also said that China may develop in a good direction or in a bad direction, so it is very important to quickly train a large number of ethical and efficient managers in China. That's why he later fully supported me to start Peter? The reason of Drucker School of Management.
Shortly after the establishment of Drucker School of Management, a famous business school professor suggested that we take the route of elite education and charge expensive tuition fees. Mr Drucker objected to this. He said to me:? China certainly needs big companies and elites to lead them, but like any other country, 90% of organizations in China will be small and medium-sized and local, and they must play their role. Large companies alone cannot provide all the functions needed by a healthy society.
