Check the display page number, page number right alignment and hyperlink, edit the format and display level, and finally confirm. Or choose automatic directory to generate directly, and choose manual directory to edit itself.

Directory refers to the contents contained in front of the text of a book, and it is a tool to reveal and report books. Catalogue is a tool to record book titles, authors, publications and collections, which are arranged in a certain order to reflect the collection, guide reading and retrieve books. "Mu" refers to the title of an article or a book, and "Lu" is the interpretation and compilation of "Mu". The predecessors combined "catalogue" and "record" into one, and called it "catalogue".

Selected Works of Zhaoming was appointed as Fan Shixing's memorial tablet for Taizai. Liu Xin-qi's view was quoted in Shan Li's Note as saying: "History books are catalogued with moss", which shows that Liu Xiang used the word "catalogue" in proofreading books. There is also a saying in Ban Yin's Biography of Hanshu that the word "directory" has been used as a noun as early as the Han Dynasty.
