Types of books in the reading room
On a sunny afternoon, we visited the library. When we arrived there, the first thing that caught our eye was the gold-plated "Maanshan Library".

After entering the main entrance, we visited the first floor under the guidance of the administrator. There are middle school students' reading room, children's reading room and book lending office on the first floor. At the lending office, we saw many adults and children queuing to borrow books. There are different kinds of books in the middle school students' reading room and loan office. Adults can meet their knowledge needs there. But what attracts me most is the children's reading room. There are more than 5000 kinds of children's books there. There are over 30 kinds of children's magazines. The bookcases there are short in design, different in shape and bright in color, with cute little seats beside them. There are vivid children's paintings on the surrounding walls, which are very suitable for children to read. What's more interesting is that many small bookcases here are rotatable, with all kinds of children's magazines on them. With a slight rotation, we can easily choose our favorite books. If the seats are full, we can take off our shoes.

After visiting the first floor, we came to the second floor. There is a newspaper reading room and a periodical room on the second floor. There are more than 200 different newspapers in the newspaper reading room, which are open to the public free of charge. What is unusual is that the desks here are tilted, which is convenient for people to read newspapers. Look! People here are reading newspapers with relish, and our arrival has not had any influence on them. Next to the newspaper reading room is the periodical room, where all kinds of magazines are neatly placed for people to read at will.

Finally, we came to the library on the third floor. There are more than 30,000 kinds of books here, which really have everything! According to the China Book Classification, the staff divided these books into 22 categories in alphabetical order, which made it convenient for people to quickly find the books they needed from the voluminous books.

Before leaving, the curator's uncle told us that they planned to build a modern electronic reading room. By then, people will read books and consult materials more quickly and conveniently. I can't help but sigh: the library is really an ocean of knowledge! I want to be a diligent little fish and swim in this ocean.
