Closed and changed to Dongtai No.1 Primary School. According to the website of personal library, in February, 2002, Yancheng Municipal Government decided to close Dongtai Normal School in Jiangsu Province and hand it over to Dongtai Municipal Government to continue running the school. Dongtai Normal School merged with No.3 Middle School at the original site, and founded Dongtai No.1 Middle School, which is now changed to Dongtai No.1 Primary School.
