How to remember China's ancient paintings?
How to memorize the history of China art quickly? If you want to memorize knowledge points quickly, you need a big premise:

Your knowledge of art history is logical!

Taking Ni Zan as an example, when introducing an artist, the clear logic is the font size, the kind of painting he is good at, the relationship between teachers and students, the theme, the style and techniques, artistic opinions and the influence of achievements.

Unclear knowledge points make it more difficult to remember knowledge points. At the same time, we should ensure the comprehensiveness of every knowledge. Imagine that if Ni Zan's knowledge is comprehensive, and Wang Meng only has font size, style and techniques, such knowledge will not only be incomplete, but also cause some confusion and hinder memory.

On this basis, the macro logic needs to be clear: first, according to the most commonly used historical time, learn the development of various art types in various dynasties. Then review and learn the independent development history of various art types and schools horizontally.

Auxiliary methods: mind maps and pictures of works. This is a way to help memory.

Mind mapping is the most effective way to help the brain form a clear framework.

The picture of the work effectively breaks the memory of knowledge points.

If you take the postgraduate entrance examination, you need to study systematically.

Systematic learning logic I can share my personal experience.

(1) lay the foundation:

The first is to master the basic knowledge for the first time according to the logic of reference books, that is, to sort out the memory according to the general logic of dynasties and calligraphy and painting techniques.

Laying the foundation for the first time is mainly to deal with the simplest basic problems: for example, explaining an artist's artistic style and explaining or answering a noun of a painting school.

It's already August, and I believe many people have read the book several times. At this stage, we will find that the basic knowledge of books is far from enough to cope with the exam. The reason is that the knowledge points in the reference books are too simple and thin. How to solve this problem?

Or how to stand out from the crowd on the basic questions that everyone can write?

The answer is to read more books and materials. I don't recommend relying entirely on online celebrity data here. First, knowledge points are logically chaotic, and knowledge is often stacked in disorder. Second, these books are basically owned by one person, so it is impossible to stand out from the crowd.

What book are you reading?

There are many books on the history of art in China, and there are also many high-quality books. The better authors are Zhu Liangzhi, Wu Hong, Fan Jingzhong and Gao Juhan. If you don't want to screen, you can go to the school library. The quality of library books is meaningless.

Besides books, what other materials can be used to expand?

One of the most important points is the effective use of hownet articles, which does not have to wait until the critical review stage, and it is also important to supplement the basic knowledge.

Secondly, the effective use of the network, each video site has high-quality documentaries and open classes, (the open classes here refer to the classes taught by teachers in various universities, and I have never seen some classes taught by online celebrity postgraduate entrance examination teachers, so I don't comment and recommend them).

My situation

The expansion of basic knowledge began as early as when I was not preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination (mainly because I clearly knew that I would take the direction of art theory in the future and love art history very much), and then I accumulated some when I was preparing for graduate school, and slowly sorted out my notes. Reading books, reading materials and watching courses are all enjoyable, but it is a huge problem to turn this knowledge into your own and systematically include it in your notes. As a science student, although I can't learn scientific knowledge well, my scientific thinking is deeply rooted in my mind. I hate the accumulation of knowledge points. After laying a good foundation, we began to sort out the logic of knowledge points. After gaining a lot of knowledge, I will adjust my logic according to the logic of a hownet author, a teacher and a book author. Although I haven't been completely satisfied with the logic, it's not bad in order. (clap your chest, have confidence! )

(2) Macro observation:

The basic stage is a superficial microscopic process. When the foundation is laid, it is necessary to jump out of the logic of the basic stage and look at the unique development process of each art. Landscape painting, figure painting, flower-and-bird painting, even portrait painting and religious painting all have their historical context. Calligraphy is the same as miscellaneous things. However, most colleges and universities will only study the development history of the three main arts of painting. Don't delve into the details, but look at the characteristics and the rise and fall process of each art form. We should delve into the influence of the political and historical situation of each dynasty on a certain art and compare the artistic differences of different dynasties. At this learning stage, Li Zehou's The Course of Beauty is very helpful to my review.

At this review stage, some of them have been exposed to some composition questions that are not too difficult.

(3) continue to dig deep:

In fact, many colleges and universities that only test basic questions can't reach this step. Please adjust the audit depth according to the individual's application for colleges and universities.

During this period, we mainly paid attention to the famous artistic thoughts in China's art history, such as Sheikh's six methods, Zong Bing's "Sages reflect things with Tao, Sages have a clear heart and a clear taste", Su Shi's "common sense remains unchanged", Zhao Meng's "ancient meaning", Ni Zan's "writing in the chest" and Shi Tao's "pen and ink should follow the times" and so on.

In the process of deep excavation of art theory, I mainly use books and HowNet. The books written by Xu Guanfu, Zong Baihua, Chen Chuanxi and Ge Lu are of great help to my review.
