National Library of China: with a total construction area of 280,000 square meters, it is divided into the south area of the main library, the north area of the main library and the ancient books library. The main building in the south area of the main library is a twin-tower building with double eaves, glazed tile roof of malachite orchid, light cream tile exterior wall, stone steps on granite base and white marble railings. The whole body is blue, which means beware of fire and water. There are 37,686,200 books in the collection, including nearly 2 million ancient books, and the total amount of digital resources exceeds 1000TB. It is the largest library in Asia and ranks third among the national libraries in the world. The library has 25 reading rooms, more than 5,000 reading seats and 33 institutional departments.
