The farmer's library is a public welfare cultural service facility established in the administrative village to meet the cultural needs of farmers and provide them with practical books, newspapers and electronic audio-visual products. It is an important measure to strengthen rural cultural construction and accelerate the establishment of a public cultural service system covering the whole society. It is also a major public cultural service project implemented by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. In 20 15, under the correct guidance of superior departments and leaders, our village made continuous efforts to give full play to the role of farmer's library, which was widely praised by villagers.
First, the basic situation of the construction of rural library
The farmer's library in our village covers an area of 40 square meters and has 2000 books, which are divided into eight categories: politics and economics, science and technology, life, culture, children, others, newspapers and periodicals, and audio and video. There are 900 kinds of books. It contains literary novels, common sense of life, popular science knowledge, scientific planting and breeding knowledge and other books. Knowledge has a wide coverage and rich content, which can improve the knowledge level of villagers and provide them with various technical information. The books in the farmer's bookstore are classified in strict accordance with the requirements of the management manual, and the books are arranged in an orderly manner according to the categories. There are 2 tables, 6 chairs, 7 bookcases, 1 fire extinguisher.
Second, the management of farmer's bookstore
The farmer's bookstore in our village is managed by university student village officials, and the managers have all participated in the training. All kinds of books in the farmer's bookstore are displayed in different categories for the convenience of the villagers. Administrators are familiar with the knowledge of book classification, registration, storage and borrowing.
There are rules to follow in bookkeeping and borrowing. The borrowing and lending of books are strictly registered in real name, and the administrator regularly checks whether the books are moth-eaten, damp, lost or missing pages to ensure that the books are not damaged or lost.
The "farmer's library" is open to villagers every Monday to Friday (8: 00 am to 1 1: 30 am and 2: 30 pm to 17: 30 pm), with the annual opening volume exceeding 1000 hours and the annual reading volume exceeding120. The main activity is to provide professional and technical guidance to many villagers with the same wishes through reading and borrowing. Through the study in the "farmer's bookstore", a group of learning farmers, a group of "walking dictionaries" and "soil experts" emerged. The establishment of "farmer's library" has effectively solved the problems of farmers' difficulty in buying, borrowing and reading books, enlivened and enriched rural cultural life, and has become a "spiritual paradise" and a "gas station for getting rich" for farmers' friends. This year, our village farmer's bookstore held three reader activities to care for left-behind children and the elderly, and publicized science and education according to the actual situation of our village, which received good response and received 22 opinions from villagers' readers.

With the farmer's library, the villagers have a good place to go, gambling and family quarrels are less, and reading has become a pleasure of life, alleviating the monotonous rural life.

Rural information is relatively closed, and villagers can accept relatively little cultural knowledge. The farmer's bookstore has newspapers and magazines to provide the villagers with the latest social information. Summary of the activity of "Love Book Room" In order to recycle resources and repay the society, the Young Volunteers Association of the College of Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy of our college held the activity of "Love Book Room", which is briefly described as follows.
