The difference between heroic historical view and popular historical view
The main differences between individuals and people play a great role in the process of historical development. Marxist historical materialism holds that history is created by the people. Western mainstream historical idealism generally believes that heroes and great men play a decisive role in the process of historical development, and the people are the driving force and belong to the object of leadership. Therefore, there are great differences in the descriptions of history between eastern and western historians, which makes people feel that it is only a miracle of the development of human civilization. For example, the study of Napoleon with different historical views has opened my eyes. Nowadays, in the field of historiography, historical research will use comprehensive methods. The mainstream is the materialistic mass historical view, but it cannot absolutely deny the idealistic heroic historical view. Both the mass historical view and the heroic historical view emphasize the decisive role of human beings in the historical process. However, after the publication of General History of the World, Mr. Stavri Anoos brought a brand-new historical concept, that is, the influence of the objective environment of nature on the historical process of mankind.
