What kind of people can read good books? 7. Reading Guidance "Three Don 'ts"
Seven, reading guidance "three don't" (a), don't have a clear purpose. Generally speaking, there is always a purpose in doing things. In order to achieve the goal as soon as possible, it is often put forward clearly before doing things, and a clear goal can improve the efficiency of doing things. However, from my situation of guiding students to read, this approach is not appropriate. When you talk about the meaning and purpose of reading, students seem impatient, but when they start reading freely, they can't wait to act quickly. The reading of middle school students is different from that of professionals and other special groups. Professionals often read professional books or professional-related books with a clear purpose to improve their professional knowledge and skills. Middle school students are different. In the long run, their reading will certainly play a certain role and need to achieve a certain purpose, but it is difficult to determine whether he reads for a specific purpose. Analyzing the purpose and significance of reading before reading can only weaken students' interest in reading. It's like when a child arrives at a KFC store, what he wants is how to eat KFC as soon as possible. He will not consider what nutrition KFC has for him and what impact it has on his health. At this time, parents' suggestions of eating more, eating less and chewing slowly are often ineffective. Even if someone told him that there was bird flu now, he wouldn't care. What the children experienced was the delicious chicken, the atmosphere of so many children in KFC, and the pride that I could eat KFC. The same is true of students' reading. They are often not interested in the ultimate goal, but are interested in the reading process and the good articles encountered in the reading process. As for the reading of these good articles, how important it is to writing and being a man, he won't care himself. Reading is to do a special thing, and it is hard to say to what extent. If a student says that he wants to study for the Chinese score in the college entrance examination, then his Chinese score is often not high in the exam. Reading with the clear purpose of improving Chinese performance and composition level will be counterproductive, and in turn, it will complain that reading too many books is ineffective. Instead, I have the idea that "reading is useless". Because the purpose is too clear, if you can't reach it in the end, it will prove that everything you have done before is in vain. Reading books at ordinary times is not doing reference books and exercises, and it will not directly affect a certain result in the short term. Reading without a clear purpose means not being too utilitarian, and things are often not done well. The key for teachers to guide reading is to let students experience the pleasure of reading and the joy of being attracted by the content of the article. In fact, the purpose and significance can be less, or even not, so that students can experience it in the process of reading and growing up. (2) Don't have too many restrictions. Our school specializes in reading. Teachers can take students directly to the reading room and fill in the reading manual. However, some teachers work hard. They go to the reading room in advance to sort out the books they read in reading class. Students can only choose from these books, others are not allowed to read. They think that books that are useful to China people should be read, or students will waste their time reading miscellaneous books without any benefit. In fact, middle school students' reading is related to their age characteristics, and they also have a rebellious mentality in the reading process. The teacher strongly recommends that he often just doesn't like reading. The teacher criticizes books and he likes reading. The more you limit him, the more he hates it. Books and periodicals in the library and reading room should all be opened when they enter the school library as long as the entrance is closed, so that students can choose freely, which is conducive to cultivating students' good reading habits. We often say that we should read widely, but in concrete actions, there are often many restrictions on students' reading, which suppresses students' reading desire and spoils students' reading appetite. Now, there is another kind of book, which is artistic and thoughtful, but students just don't like it, that is, books with too similar content. From a single content, it is very good, but one episode is easy to get bored. As the saying goes, no matter how tasteless the food is, no matter how good the similar articles are, they will be bored if they are read too much. The survey shows that middle school students like to read a little miscellaneous, even if it is the same book, I hope the content is not too similar. I feel the same way about it myself. I remember there used to be a classical Chinese reading aid. It selects short and pithy articles from various ancient books, which is very attractive. Later, somehow, when it was reprinted, the editor divided it into ambition, knowledge and education according to the different contents. Cultivation, talent? Personality and other categories, dozens of essays are collected in the same category, and it is boring to read a few. The whole book has become an argument manual, which seems to be not for people to read, but for beginners to prepare arguments. People always have the psychology of seeking novelty and novelty in reading, and it is difficult to guide students to read good books without paying attention to their reading psychology. This kind of book is also a kind of restriction for readers. Moreover, there are more and more such books, so that students are temporarily novel and gradually lose interest. There is another limitation, that is, too much emphasis is placed on how many famous books middle school students have to finish, and the Ministry of Education has also recommended the bibliography. More than 20 books, with an average of six or seven books every year. Not to mention whether there is enough time, as far as the content is concerned, I think it is not realistic. Many Chinese teachers may not have read some of these books carefully. Reading requires a certain knowledge reserve and life experience, otherwise reading is also a waste. Many of these masterpieces are actually impossible for middle school students to understand, and some of them can only be partially understood. Take A Dream of Red Mansions as an example. How many middle school students can really finish reading it? Most of them are difficult for adults with a certain level to understand now. I sometimes try to read some more famous books, but I feel sleepy when I look at them. Judging from the reading attraction, these masterpieces are still not as good as Selected Novels. We adults all study like this. Why should we force students to read famous books that we all feel a little reluctant to part with? If teachers keep asking students to read these famous books when instructing them to read, and some even take compulsory measures to ask students to read, the reading amount of students can be imagined. As a teacher, we must be realistic. I have always thought that the most important thing for students to read is not how many books they have finished, but to cultivate the habit of reading, making reading an indispensable thing in his life and one of his favorite things. In this way, the purpose of offering reading classes in middle schools has been achieved. Restriction is the biggest problem in middle school students' reading guidance. (3) Don't forget that interest comes first. Do what you don't like, take the cow to the well, do what you like, and enjoy it. Anyone who reads a lot often starts with interest and is attracted by the content (mainly the plot) in the book. The psychological characteristic of middle school students' reading is to pay attention to the plot. In the bibliography of guiding reading or recommending reading, the readability of the plot should be considered first. The plot is slow, students don't want to watch it, and the plot is lively and students like it. The reason why many students don't like watching Beijing opera is that the plot of Beijing opera is slow and the students can't wait. Many Beijing operas are excellent, and middle-aged and elderly people may like to watch Beijing opera. This is because of different age characteristics and different preferences. Nowadays, Chinese textbooks and articles recommended for reading in middle schools often lack readability. In my opinion, middle school students should read more books with strong plots at this stage to meet the psychological requirements of students of this age and enhance their thinking ability in images, which is the basis for development to a new stage. At this stage, he entered a new stage, lacking foundation, and his imagination and association ability were very low. This visualized thinking ability will often affect his later abstract thinking ability and expressive ability. Many adults wonder why middle school students like martial arts books so much, which is why interest is playing a role. In fact, there are many good works with attractive plots at all times and in all countries. Why not choose more such works? At present, there are not many articles that students like in Chinese textbooks, which basically belong to novels. I made a survey. What are the favorite works in a book? "Necklace" is almost all tickets, from which it is not difficult to see the reading characteristics of students. Nowadays, the teaching materials are more and more beautifully decorated and thicker, but unfortunately, how many books are really liked by students? The editor might as well do a survey. When I was a child, I saw a book with many pages missing at the beginning at my relative's house. After reading it for a while, I was so attracted by it that I read the whole book. I didn't know it was an ancient legendary novel until I read the Chinese Department. This book "surprised the police for the first time". Decades have passed, and it seems that I can still remember my original reading. Nowadays, students are accepting more and more TV culture and cultural fast food. If you don't start from interest, you should first consider readability, and I'm afraid no amount of reading guidance will help. Now everyone is talking about "people-oriented", especially in reading guidance, students should be guided to read according to their psychological characteristics.
