1, Introduction

Chengde Medical College is located in Chengde, a famous historical and cultural city in China. It is an ordinary medical undergraduate college affiliated to Hebei provincial government.

The school was founded in September 1945, and it is called Jidong Military Region Health School. 1948 10 was renamed as Jicha Reliao Campus of China Medical University, referred to as the Fourth Campus of Medical University. 1949 in may, the school settled in Chengde, the capital of Jehol province, and changed its name to Jehol medical college. In July 1958, it was renamed Chengde Medical College, and in February 1982, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and named Chengde Medical College.

According to official website 2065438+June 2005, the campus covers an area of 749,000 square meters with total fixed assets of 700 million yuan. The library covers an area of nearly 1.9 million square meters, with nearly 700,000 books and more than 600 kinds of periodicals and magazines. It has 2.4 million e-books, full-text database of Wanfang medical journals, full-text database of China academic journals and EBSCO foreign language database.
