Guizhou University Library is a comprehensive university library. After 1997 and 2004 merged schools twice, each campus library has completed the establishment of 1 library, and now there are three branches in the west campus, the south campus and the north campus, with a total area of about 90,000 square meters, initially realizing the automation and informationization of library management and service. This library is a member of China Higher Education Document Guarantee System (CALIS). At present, there are 365,438+10,000 paper books, 9 1 0,000 electronic books and 42 Chinese and foreign electronic literature databases, which are the largest collections of all kinds of libraries in Guizhou Province. The Japanese literature database of Guizhou University ranks among the top three universities in China, and the library of Guizhou University is the core construction of the scientific and technological literature sharing platform in Guizhou Province. The library implements the curator responsibility system under the leadership of the principal. At present, the general branch secretary 1 person and the deputy curator are 3 people. The library has seven business departments, namely, editing center, circulation department, periodical department, consulting center, technology department, special collection department and office, with 150 employees, including 78 with middle and senior titles.
