The library of Xi Engineering University consists of Jinhua Campus Library opened at 1987 and Lintong Campus Library opened in 2007. The library covers an area of 34,000 square meters and has 3,500 reading seats. It adopts a fully open management mode integrating collection, borrowing, reading and consulting, with an average weekly opening time of more than 80 hours. There are more than 30,000 copies of various documents1.30, and more than 60,000 kinds of Chinese and foreign printed and electronic periodicals1.60, which gradually forms a multi-disciplinary and multi-document carrier document guarantee system focusing on industry, featuring textile printing and dyeing, and combining science, engineering, management and literature. Collected classic textile books published before the founding of the People's Republic of China and textile dyeing that has been continuously collected for more than 70 years. When the library was built, it inherited a large number of precious documents. After years of continuous accumulation and supplement, it has accumulated more than one million copies of various documents, printed and electronic journals in Chinese and foreign languages 16000, and also collected a large number of scientific and technological reports, dissertations, scientific and technological reports, technical standards and patent documents. Gradually formed a multi-disciplinary and multi-document carrier system with industry as the main feature, textile, printing and dyeing, clothing art as the main body, and combining science, engineering, management and literature. Since 1986, the library has been undertaking the teaching of information retrieval and utilization.
