Wujiang Library has a collection of 320,000 books, including 70,000 ancient books and second-hand books (including 56,000 online ancient books) and several rare books. There are 50 employees, more than 90% of whom have a college degree. There are 4 deputy research librarians and 7 librarians in the staff. Subscribe to 1000 newspapers and periodicals, and buy 25,000 new books in 2005. When the new library was opened, a large number of machine-readable electronic documents such as China Important Newspapers Full-text Database, National Yearbook Full-text Database, Siku Series Full-text Database and Superstar Digital Library were newly purchased, and Wujiang 500-year Ancient Local Records Full-text Database was developed by ourselves.
