The museum has seven business departments. In order to enhance the service function for readers and improve the service quality, the library has a 13 service window, including the main service desk (registration office, information desk), new book lending office, social science book lending office, natural science book lending office, basic collection book lending office, popular science book lending office, newspaper reading room, information reference consulting room, local literature research room, ancient foreign book reading room and classics.

There are 70 employees in the library, including 3 graduate students, 29 undergraduates, 32 with college education or above, accounting for 9 1.42% of the total employees, 6 research librarians, and 28 librarians.
