Yunnan Agricultural University Library was founded in 1958. The new building 1986 was completed with 644,494 documents. (As of February 2002, 65,438+,of which 10755 was added in 2002; 40,000 kinds of electronic full-text books/volumes. The organization consists of five departments and one room, namely, information consulting service department, periodical and network resource utilization service department, document resource construction department, Chinese document utilization service department, foreign document utilization service department and office. Each department has a sound organizational structure and clear job responsibilities, and the whole library has formulated rules and regulations. Guided by the newly promulgated Regulations for Libraries in Colleges and Universities issued by the Ministry of Education, and taking the idea of running a school as the direction of document information resources construction, the library has gradually formed a document information resources guarantee system with agriculture as the mainstay and coordinated development of agriculture, industry, economics, management, science, literature and education.
