2. Mei Zhongxiao

Some Japanese jurists called him "the father of China's civil law", and some American jurists called him "Mr. China's civil law".
5. Shi Shangkuan
Mr. Shi Shangkuan (1898- 1970), a native of Tongcheng, Anhui Province, was born on the first day of the Lunar New Year on 1898. He could write at the age of eleven, and studied in Japan at the age of fifteen, and obtained a bachelor's degree in law from the Faculty of Law of Tokyo Imperial University.
