Whether in JD.COM or Taobao, the pre-sale deposit is non-refundable. First of all, we should know the meaning of "margin". Margin is a kind of guarantee fund and belongs to the legal category. If the consumer pays a deposit, then this product must be bought. If you don't buy it, it is a "breach of contract", and merchants and platforms have the right not to refund the "deposit".
The deposit has been paid before the final payment period, so it cannot be cancelled. After the pre-sale activity is over and the final payment is paid, the order can be cancelled normally. If not, the order will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded. Because according to the rules of JD.COM or Taobao, the pre-sale deposit is a certain amount of money paid by users in advance when purchasing goods, which is mainly used to ensure the purchase of pre-sale goods and determine the purchase quota. If the final payment is not completed due to the user's reasons or the order is cancelled after payment, the merchant may deduct the paid deposit.
Pre-sale management norms
1. Compensation for price difference between pre-sale estimated hand price and actual hand price. In order to ensure consumers' shopping experience during June18, the platform has the right to compensate consumers for the price difference when the "actual price" is higher than the "pre-sale estimated price" due to business activities such as price change and coupon refund, and the consumers apply for the price difference compensation from the platform, and the expenses incurred by this compensation shall be borne by the merchants.
2. Pre-sale and spot price difference compensation. During the 6 18 event, if the interests of consumers who buy pre-sold goods are damaged due to factors such as spot price reduction or preferential price increase, the platform has the right to compensate consumers for the price difference, and the expenses incurred by this compensation shall be borne by the merchants.
3. Requirements for delivery restrictions. Merchants should set the "latest delivery time" in the pre-sale system and complete the delivery of pre-sale goods according to the "latest delivery time". Overdue delivery is regarded as delayed delivery, and JD.COM will handle it according to "3.6 Delayed Delivery" in the Rules for the Management of Illegal Points of Merchants in JD.COM Open Platform.
