What kind of cloud desktop scheme should schools adopt when deploying electronic reading rooms?
Aiming at the application characteristics of large-scale mass deployment of computers in the construction of electronic reading room, the application is relatively simple, but at the same time, it requires high security and centralized management. Yulong Cloud uses cloud teaching auxiliary products based on cloud computing technology to design a new technical implementation scheme, that is, the client is transformed from the traditional distributed PC mode to the centralized processing mode of thin client+server, and the computing power of the client is integrated and optimized, and all operations are completed by the server. Users can access the virtual machine by using cloud terminal all-in-one machine, thin client, traditional PC or notebook computer, so as to realize centralized management of desktop environment, zero maintenance of terminals and flexible allocation of hardware resources. Combined with a set of digital reading room software, the integration of electronic library, electronic audio-visual library and paper library (the first three-in-one model, only the function of e-books is common in the market) is realized.

Electronic reading room products mainly include: cloud service host (built-in cloud education auxiliary TAE platform software), cloud terminal, network equipment (router/switch) and cloud service center platform.

Cloud service host: Support server cluster deployment, and install cloud classroom system software TAE on the service host, which mainly provides computing resources, storage resources, network resources, teaching process control management and cloud management service platform. The service host generates a large number of teaching cloud computers through virtualization technology, and uses the remote desktop display protocol to send desktops to cloud classroom terminal devices through the network for access. The teaching process is controlled, and administrators can access the server management platform through browsers to centrally manage and maintain all servers, virtual desktops, users and terminals.

Cloud terminal: The cloud terminal is mainly composed of split and all-in-one machines, and is mainly used for the front-end operation of the user's cloud office desktop. The customized VDP technology is adopted to remotely access the VM (virtual machine or virtual desktop) of the back-end cloud service host. The cloud terminal is small and exquisite in design, does not need to be upgraded, is simple to install and operate, does not need a host, and can be used with one button. The difference between the two is that the integration and technology of the all-in-one machine are more accurate, and the display function is integrated without increasing the display screen.

Router/switch: used to build the network environment of the cloud classroom, and realize the intercommunication between the internal environment of the cloud classroom and the system desktop and the campus network.

Cloud desktop platform: The cloud platform provides online upgrade, remote operation and maintenance, Internet-based teaching function support and other business support for deployed cloud classrooms.
