1. Individuals who want to borrow books and periodicals from the library can apply for a library card.
2. The library card and Xiamen social security card are universal. Xiamen social security card holders should use their social security cards to open the book lending function in our library; People who don't have a social security card in Xiamen can apply for a temporary borrowing card in our library with their ID card, household registration book, military officer's card or soldier's card, my passport and other valid documents.
3. Before applying for a license, readers should receive the "Xiamen Library Reader Registration Form" at the accreditation office and fill in the complete personal information truthfully.
When you apply for a library card, you need to pay a certain amount of deposit. The deposit is divided into seven grades: 50 yuan, 100 yuan, 200 yuan, 300 yuan, 500 yuan, 800 yuan and 1000 yuan. Each library card can borrow books and periodicals equivalent to the deposit. Temporary library cards also need to pay 5 yuan fee (collection).
5. The library cards of the main library, the branch library and the automobile library have the same function, and they can be used as one card, borrowed and returned.
6. The new library card will not be returned within one month.
7. If readers need to adjust the deposit order, they can bring their social security card (or temporary borrowing card and original ID card) and deposit receipt to the registration office for deposit increase or decrease.
(2) Collective loan voucher
1. Units that need to borrow books and periodicals from the library can apply for a collective library card. Applicants can apply to the circulation service department of our library.
2. To apply for a collective lending card, you must hold a certificate stamped with the official seal of the unit, and fill in the Registration Form for Collective Lending Users of Xiamen Library.
3. The collective library card needs to pay a certain deposit. The deposit is divided into three grades: 1000 yuan, 2,000 yuan and 3,000 yuan. Each library card can borrow books and periodicals equivalent to the deposit.
(3) Digital resource reading card?
1. Individuals who need to use our digital resources can apply for a digital resource reading card with our library card or Xiamen social security card.
2. Readers with library cards can go through the application formalities at the accreditation office with their library cards, and fill out the Application Form for the Opening of Digital Resources in Xiamen Library. The library can be opened free of charge within two working days.
3. The holders of social security cards in Xiamen can apply to the accreditation office with their social security cards, and truthfully fill in the Registration Form for Readers of Xiamen Library and the Application Form for Opening Digital Resources in Xiamen Library, which can be opened free of charge within two working days.

After reading the books and periodicals, please put them in the designated location or put them flat on the bookshelf and return them by the administrator.
4. Books and periodicals can be borrowed for 2 1 day, and can be renewed for 1 time before expiration, and the renewal period is 2 1 day. Readers can call 2980252 or log in to "My Library" on our website (www.xmlib.net) to renew the loan, and overdue books and periodicals cannot be renewed; If it is overdue, the overdue loan shall be paid 0. 10 yuan per volume (piece) per day.
5.？ Readers should check whether the borrowed books and periodicals are damaged or missing pages before going through the loan formalities. If damaged or missing pages are found, please notify the administrator in time and affix the damage certificate seal to clarify the responsibility and avoid illegal handling.
6.？ The library provides self-service borrowing of books, and readers can use the self-service borrowing machine located at the exit of the borrowing area to handle the book borrowing procedures (periodicals and audio-visual materials do not provide self-service borrowing).
