Using hownet. HowNet is the concept of national knowledge infrastructure, which was put forward by the World Bank in 1998. CNKI project is an information construction project aimed at realizing the dissemination, enjoyment and value-added utilization of knowledge resources in the whole society. Initiated by Tsinghua University and Tsinghua Tongfang, it was established in June 1999.

HowNet, called "China HowNet", is the largest literature database in China, with more than 200 million articles. It can be said that as long as you do academic work in Chinese, you can't get around HowNet.

Judging from the nature of HowNet, HowNet has a certain monopoly position and is a part of China's knowledge-based project. Its predecessor was China Journal Network, and its construction itself was supported by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other national ministries and commissions. HowNet, as the basic database of national knowledge, undertakes the important task of digitizing documents and materials, and obtains certain policy convenience and rationality.
