1, Shandong University
Shandong University is the earliest modern higher education university in China. Its main body is Shandong University Hall founded by 190 1, which is the second national university founded by China after Shi Jing University Hall and the first university in China to run according to its articles of association. Its medical discipline originated from 1864, which opened modern higher medical education in China.
Since its birth, the school has experienced several historical development periods, such as Shandong University Hall, National Qingdao University, National Shandong University, Shandong University and the new Shandong University formed by the merger of former Shandong University, Shandong Medical University and Shandong Polytechnic University.
2. China Ocean University
The school was formerly a private Qingdao University, founded in 1924. 1930, National Qingdao University was established on the basis of provincial Shandong University and private Qingdao University. After the National Shandong University and Shandong University, the main body of Shandong University moved to Jinan in 1958, and in March/959, Shandong Ocean College was established on the basis of the departments of oceanography, fisheries, geology and biology. 1960 was identified by the state as one of the national 13 key comprehensive universities. 1988 was renamed Qingdao Ocean University. In 2002, it was renamed China Ocean University.

Shandong University of Science and Technology is a well-known school in Shandong Province that focuses on cultivating applied basic talents. It is also a university that implements the national "excellent engineer education and training plan", "new engineering research and practice project" and "college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training plan project". It is the first batch of universities' scientific and technological achievements transformation and technology transfer bases jointly established by Shandong Provincial People's Government and former state administration of work safety. 5. Qingdao University of Science and Technology
The school, formerly known as Shenyang Light Industry Higher Vocational School, was founded in 1950 and moved to Qingdao in 1956. 65438-0958, Shandong Institute of Chemical Technology was established with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Government, and the process of formally holding higher education began.
1984 was renamed Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education; 1998 was transferred to Shandong province by the Ministry of Chemical Industry; 200 1 Qingdao arts and crafts school was merged; In 2002, it was renamed Qingdao University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2009, the Gaomi Campus of Qingdao University of Science and Technology was put into use, and in 20 16, Shandong Institute of Chemical Technology was incorporated into the whole system.
