Daizao Temple is located in the northeast of the Imperial Garden of the Forbidden City and to the east of Xiushan. It was built during the Qianlong period. It is mainly used to store the essence of Sikuquanshu, in which "Daizao" means spreading and spreading, and "Daizao" means promoting culture.

The building faces south against the wall, with five rooms wide, yellow glazed tile hard mountain roof, and a small door on the west wall of the hall, which can lead to the west wing. Bookshelves are placed indoors for the collection of books in the palace. After forty-four years of Qianlong (A.D. 1779), the collection of Sikuquanshu was stored here for the Emperor Qianlong to read at any time.
The plaque of Zhazao Hall was inscribed by Emperor Qianlong with the words "Zhazao Express China", and the couplet was "Paving the business around the court with aromatic carpets"; "There is a seat where clouds weave ancient joys. Among them, the word "Yunbian" refers to the perennial herb turnip, which was often put in books by the ancients to prevent insects from eating, so it was called an ancient book by Yunbian. The couplet outside Simon is "about the book, with quips in silence;" "In spring and autumn, the wind and the moon are beautiful and the sky is beautiful." In the West Room, the couplets inscribed by Emperor Qianlong are "Su Feng" and "Never more ancient; You can write new poems. "

In the process of compiling Sikuquanshu, the Summary of Sikuquanshu, General Catalogue of Sikuquanshu, Concise Catalogue of Sikuquanshu, Textual Research of Sikuquanshu and Wuyingdian Juyan Edition Series were also compiled. These books can be regarded as a by-product of compiling Sikuquanshu. The Summary of Sikuquanshu is the essence selected by Qianlong organization after finishing Sikuquanshu, with a total of 463 kinds and 20828 volumes,1178 volumes. The size and binding form of folio are the same as those of Sikuquanshu. In the forty-third year of Qianlong (AD 1778), * * * copied two books: one was placed in the algae hall of the imperial garden in the palace, and the other was placed in the salty bookstore in Changchun Garden outside the east wall of Yuanmingyuan. Emperor Qianlong often came here to consult ancient books. The books in the hall were arranged according to classics, history, books and collections, and chajia used toothpicks. Reading ancient books and reciting poems is a major part of Emperor Qianlong's leisure life.
