Provisions on the administration of book publishing
Legal analysis: The Provisions on the Administration of Book Publishing was adopted at the 2nd executive meeting of the General Administration of Press and Publication on February 26th, 2007, and is hereby promulgated and shall come into force on May 6th, 2008. Article 1 In order to standardize book publishing, strengthen the supervision and management of book publishing, and promote the development and prosperity of book publishing, these Provisions are formulated in accordance with the Regulations of the State Council Municipality on the Administration of Publication and relevant laws and regulations. Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to the publication of books in People's Republic of China (PRC). The term "books" as mentioned in these Provisions refers to books, maps, New Year pictures, picture albums and other forms of content carriers approved by the General Administration of Press and Publication, such as calendars, monthly calendars and calendars containing words and pictures.

Legal basis: Measures for the Administration of Industry Standards in People's Republic of China (PRC).

Article 1 In order to strengthen the management of industry standards and ensure the coordination and unification of industry standards, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the Standardization Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Regulations for the Implementation of the Standardization Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Article 2 Industry standards refer to the standards that need to be unified in a certain industry in the country without national standards. Industry standards shall not conflict with relevant national standards. Relevant industry standards shall be coordinated and unified, and shall not be duplicated. After the implementation of the corresponding national standards, the industry standards shall be abolished.

Article 3 For the following technical requirements that need to be unified in the industry, industry standards (including the production of standard samples) may be formulated:

(a) technical terms, symbols, codes (including codes), file formats, drawing methods and other common technical languages;

(two) varieties, specifications, performance parameters, quality indicators, inspection methods and safety and hygiene requirements of industrial and agricultural products;

(three) the design, production, inspection, packaging, storage, transportation, use and maintenance methods of industrial and agricultural products and the safety and health requirements in the process of production, storage and transportation;

(four) the technical requirements of general parts;

(5) Product structural elements, interchangeability and coordination requirements;

(six) the technical requirements and methods of survey, planning, design, construction and acceptance of engineering construction;

(seven) technical requirements of information, energy, resources, transportation and management technology.
