Lu's General History of China is divided into two chapters, including marriage, the origin of the Chinese nation, the historical era of China, the deeds of Xia, Yin and Western Zhou Dynasties, the competition in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period and the unification of Qin State, the assimilation of ancient aliens, and the reactionary feudal regime during the Qin and Han Dynasties. Lu wrote A General History of China for the reference of relevant scholars.
1939 The General History of China is divided into two volumes, the first volume is 18. It describes the social and economic system, political system, cultural and academic development of China in different categories, including marriage, clan system, political power, class, property, official system, election, taxation, military system, criminal law, industry, money, food and clothing, housing, education, language and so on. Chapter 36 of Volume II describes the political changes in China in chronological order. The first volume of A General History of China was published by Shanghai Mingkai Bookstore on March 1940. Due to the difficult publishing conditions at that time, the publication of the second volume was postponed to September 1944. By 1948, the first volume was reprinted to the seventh edition, and the second volume was reprinted to the sixth edition. 1In August, 992, East China Normal University Press published A General History of China, entitled A General History of Lv Zhu and China, which was abridged in many places. 1March, 997, The General History of China was also included in the Library of Legal Persons and Cultural Science Volume of China Economic Publishing House in the name of The General History of Luzhu and China. In 20051February, East China Normal University Press published the second edition of Lu's General History of China, and most of the deleted places were restored as they were. In March, 2008, New World Publishing House changed its name to China Cultural History (Illustrated Collection). In April, 2008, Shanghai Science and Technology Literature Publishing House included The Collection of Dust Settled in the name of Lu Zhu's General History of China. At the same time, Chao Hai Publishing House changed the title to "China Cultural History Lv Simian (Illustrated Collector's Edition)" and included it in the series of "Lecture Hall of Chinese Studies". The editor added a more abridged secondary catalogue.
