There are three buildings from north to south: administrative office center, conference building and exhibition hall. The south cultural square covers an area of about 510.6 million square meters, which is mainly used for cultural and leisure activities. From north to south, there are five buildings: Library, Yulan Grand Theatre, Mass Art Museum, Youth Activity Center and Science and Technology Museum. The central square is not only the political and cultural center of Dongguan, but also the symbol of Dongguan's new city with its grand scale and unique environmental art design, which is a vivid epitome of Dongguan's construction of a modern manufacturing city, an ecological green city and a new cultural city. The theme of the square is blue belt (waterscape), green belt (flowers and trees) and light belt (night scene), and the design of each part is carefully pursuing the perfect artistic realm. All squares are open layout, which not only provides a large number of urban landscapes for citizens to visit, relax and entertain, but also provides a variety of cultural, artistic and sports service facilities. It is a public square that truly serves the people.
