1960, under the kind care of Premier Zhou Enlai, Huaqiao University was established in China, and then the Huaqiao University Library was established. However, due to the "Cultural Revolution" turmoil, 1970 school was forced to close, the library disintegrated, and all the books in Huaqiao University Library were scattered to other institutions, leaving little. From 65438 to 0978, the State Council made a decision to restore Huaqiao University, and Huada Library also embarked on the road of reconstruction and development.

The Overseas Chinese General Library was jointly built by the Indonesian Overseas Chinese Federation and Mr. Xu Dongliang, the vice chairman of the school board and a famous Hong Kong person. It was officially opened in June 1990 1 1. Mr. Lu Jiaxi wrote down the name of the new library. In June, 2004, Mr. Xu Dongliang, the vice president of our school, and Mr. Su Xiurong of Hongkong popular mechanics Company donated RMB/kloc-0.00 million to rebuild the old library, and named it "Public Library Building" as the periodical branch of the library. The periodical branch has collected all the newspapers and periodicals collected since the reopening of our library.

Xiamen Campus Library covers a total area of more than 30,000 square meters, and the overall design is divided into two phases. On September 25th, 2008, Zheng Nianjin Library, a branch of Xiamen Campus, cut the ribbon. The first phase of Xiamen Campus Library was donated by Mr. Zheng Nianjin, the vice chairman of the fifth board of directors of the school, and named as "Zheng Nianjin Library". "Zheng Nianjin Library" has a building area of 14639 square meters and a five-story frame structure with a total investment of 28.05 million yuan. The trial operation began on June 7, 2008.
